00:47 He rallies his friends to plead ignorance to Mr. Takahashi, the golf resort's owner
00:52 and, more importantly, the proud owner of the black swan.
01:01 While we know that Larry is no stranger to telling lies to get out of tough situations,
01:06 his commitment to concealing the truth about the swan is certainly one of his most heartless
01:10 misdoings.

01:22 Changing a Surrogate's Mind.
01:23 Even when he tries to do the right thing, Larry ends up massively messing up people's
01:28 lives.
01:29 At a friend's baby shower, he brings a gift for the baby surrogate in an intended act
01:33 of kindness.
01:46 While striking up a conversation with her, he unwisely mentions how challenging it is
01:50 to have a child for another family.
02:03 What was meant to be harmless chit-chat, though totally inappropriate, ends up ultimately
02:07 shifting the surrogate's perspective on the situation and she decides to keep the

02:32 Larry and Loretta's romance was certainly a whirlwind one, but in classic "curb your
02:36 enthusiasm" style, it obviously has to crash and burn in the most painfully cringe-inducing

02:56 Shortly after beginning to date, Loretta falls sick and awaits a potential cancer diagnosis.
03:02 Larry doesn't want to continue their relationship given her illness, but thinks that breaking
03:06 up with her is a bad look.
03:19 Which obviously it is.
03:21 But instead of being honest with her, come on, would Larry ever just tell the truth?
03:27 He becomes a terrible partner to Loretta so that she'll break up with him on the grounds
03:31 of being toxic instead.
03:40 And whether he was faking it or not, that's pretty darn toxic.

03:46 Yoshi and His Father.
03:47 Larry David clearly has no trouble speaking his mind, even to near-fatal ends.
03:52 While at dinner, his friend Yoshi mentions that his father was a kamikaze pilot during

04:07 Arguing that calling his father a kamikaze pilot implies that he didn't survive.
04:21 Yoshi is so deeply affected by these comments that he attempts to take his own life.
04:26 When Larry hears the news at his poker game, he doesn't want to stop playing since there's

04:37 His Inappropriate Guest.
04:39 This one crosses way too many lines.
04:42 After learning that Rick, a criminal offender, has moved into his neighbourhood, Larry's
04:47 main concern is that the man is bald, which reflects poorly on the community at large.
04:59 He goes as far as to befriend the criminal after bonding over their shared love of golf,
05:03 and invites him as his guest to his family's Seder dinner.

05:08 Naturally, Cheryl completely freaks out when he tells her, as he claims that he's "cool".
05:16 Ultimately, it turns out that Rick's crimes were actually pretty benign.
05:23 But at the end of the day, we know Larry was only in it to improve his golf swing, despite
05:28 who would be affected by his careless invitation.

05:37 Richard Lewis' Kidney.
05:38 Oh, the saga of Larry David and Richard Lewis' kidneys.
05:43 Lewis, one of Larry's oldest, dearest friends, is in need of a transplant, as he's developed
05:48 kidney disease.
06:04 After learning that he's a match, and eligible to donate his own, Larry goes to the ends
06:08 of the earth to avoid doing so.
06:26 In what is potentially his grandest ruse, he pretends to practice Orthodox Judaism on
06:32 a weekend trip with a surgeon, who he manipulatively befriended in order to get Lewis to the top
06:37 of the transplant list.
06:49 Larry eventually has no choice but to donate his kidney, but boy did he fight to the bitter
06:54 end.

06:56 The Survivor Group.
06:57 How the real Larry David even thinks of these preposterous acts is beyond us.
07:14 In the group, Larry accompanies his ex-girlfriend Lucy to a group therapy session, specifically
07:19 for people who have survived abuse from members of their families.
07:23 Larry gives the group a fake name and shares a made-up story to pretend to be a survivor
07:27 himself.
07:43 Just in case that wasn't bad enough, he tells Lucy that the experience that she shared
07:48 in the meeting didn't count, as the perpetrator was her stepfather, not her actual father.
08:00 We really don't know how Larry gets away with saying and doing such terrible things,

08:07 Stealing from the Deceased.
08:09 Larry's behavior never changes, even at funerals, or when handling the delicate topic

08:32 Somehow these incidents always involve the poor Funkhauser family.
08:36 He takes a golf club out of Leah Funkhauser's casket during the service, and completely
08:40 ruins Kenny Funkhauser's funeral by shouting "FADWA" and causing everyone to scatter.
08:51 But arguably the worst offense of all is Larry taking flowers from Ida Funkhauser's memorial
08:56 and giving them to his wife Cheryl and his guest Loretta.
09:08 While many of Larry's dirty deeds have some sort of silver lining or explanation,
09:12 this one is just plain wrong.

09:15 His relationship with Denise.
09:18 Larry will often go to extreme lengths to prove that he's a good person, only to become
09:21 a much more horrible person in the process.
09:25 In this episode, Larry meets a woman named Denise, who he hits it off with and begins

09:44 However he begins to exploit his relationship with her to appear noble in front of others.
09:49 So when he accidentally loses Denise's phone number, he asks out the next woman he can
09:53 find who happens to use a wheelchair.
10:08 This leads to an extremely uncomfortable final confrontation, where Larry's punishment comes
10:13 in the form of Rosie O'Donnell.
