00:05 Los Angeles Clippers Recordo unveiling a massive rebrand, a part of a new era.
00:11 Of course, the new $2 billion arena elsewhere in Los Angeles and
00:16 the Clippers getting back to the old, showing you a former Clippers ship
00:21 that looks more like a yacht or a cruise ship in their logo.
00:25 But it's all part of a massive rebrand for this Clippers organization.
00:29 What does it truly mean?
00:31 What is the significance for this team in Los Angeles?
00:35 >> Well, the logo really depicts Donald Sterling sailing off into the sunset and
00:40 leaving Steve Ballmer with a $2 billion purchase price.
00:45 >> Two minutes in.
00:46 >> So yeah, well, hey, but the bottom line is the Intuit Dome is a $2 billion
00:52 project and the real key is to rest the relevance of basketball on the pro level.
00:59 From the Lakers, they ain't gonna do it overnight,
01:02 especially those 17, those titles by the Lakers.
01:04 But moving out of crypto, having their own identity,
01:08 the real key as in any rebranding, the team's gotta start playing well.
01:13 And they have a team with the assets that can challenge.
01:17 The new branding is called,
01:18 we're gonna do something in the NBA we've never done before,
01:21 which is play some defense and pass.
01:23 And let's see what happens with it.
01:25 But to their credit, new arena right next to SoFi, new brand,
01:29 a major market in a city where even if they get 30% of the fans, it's a home run.
