00:00 Two-time world darts champion Gary Anderson was quick to follow Phil Taylor's comments,
00:07 telling the media to allow Luke Littler to play. The Flying Scotsman said he's seen many young
00:13 talents throughout his career crumble on the biggest of stages due to overhype and pressure
00:18 by the media following a hat-trick of night winds in the Premier League this year. Michael Van
00:25 Gerwen has also had his say on the situation. "Whatever he does, if he puts his shoe on,
00:30 if he puts his dart in his hand, wherever he puts his finger in his nose, whatever he does,
00:35 everything, everyone speaks about him, everywhere's in the news, but let him enjoy himself."
00:40 There's no doubt of the talent that Luke Littler has and the impact he's had on the sport has been
00:47 monumental, but as games and tournaments become more pressurised on the stage,
00:52 maybe a better and fairer treatment would be to step back and allow him to enjoy the sport.
