Beyoncé has received country music approval from Dolly Parton for her new song "Texas Hold 'Em" and its placement on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. "Texas Hold 'Em" debuted at #1 on the chart, while another song, "16 Carriages," debuted at #9, marking Beyoncé's first entries on the country music chart. The songs will appear on Beyoncé's upcoming eighth studio album, "Act II" being released on March 29th. Dolly Parton, a country music icon, congratulated Beyoncé on Instagram for doing a country album and crossing over genres. Parton herself released a rock album, "Rockstar," last year.
