00:03 Uncharted territory here also for other teams such as Oregon,
00:06 making a move from the no longer existence of the Pac-12 into the Big 10 here,
00:11 which finds them having a massive game Saturday,
00:14 October 12th against the Ohio State Buckeyes at Austin here.
00:17 Some changes at the quarterback position,
00:19 new league as they move into.
00:21 Give us some thoughts on the Oregon Ducks coming up for 2024.
00:24 >> Yeah, Oregon's new Big 10 schedule, again, not as difficult as it could
00:30 potentially look like really the two hardest games for Oregon at least played
00:35 away from Austin on the road to the big house to start off November,
00:39 on the road in Camp Randall in Wisconsin in the middle of November.
00:45 That's going to be a brutal awakening to go out to Camp Randall in the middle
00:49 of November, but they have Washington to end out the year,
00:53 keeping the border rivalry alive.
00:54 They have Oregon State early in the year.
00:57 What will the beams bring back after Jonathan Smith makes his way to
01:01 Michigan State?
01:03 Outside of that, they do get Ohio State at home.
01:06 And again, like in the SEC, only two teams with a double digit win total.
01:11 That's Georgia and Texas in the SEC.
01:14 In the Big 10, it's Ohio State, best win total on the board, and
01:18 the Oregon Ducks, minus 122, the juice on the under.
01:22 The Ducks should be feeling great after last season despite coming up short in
01:26 the Pac-12 championship game.
01:28 Bo Nix is gone.
01:29 Dylan Gabriel is the new quarterback for Oregon.
01:33 Dan Lanning remains recruiting as an all-time high.
01:36 The talent on this roster is really second to none all around college football and
01:42 in the Big 10.
01:43 What is Oregon going to do in its first year in the conference?
01:47 That remains to be seen.
01:48 Again, double digit wins, I believe for the Ducks.
01:52 And that's the next part to discuss here, Donny.
01:54 Because unlike years past, if you lost double digit games,
01:58 you were not making the college football playoff.
02:01 Maybe you were in the debate.
02:03 Maybe you were in the conversation.
02:05 But we never saw a two loss team in a ten year history of the four team format
02:09 in the CFP.
02:10 Now there is going to be multiple two loss teams.
02:13 There might even be a three loss team in the college football playoff if you hail
02:17 from the Big 10 or the SEC, which I actually think keeps the regular season
02:23 more enticing for the entirety of it.
02:25 Because if Oregon stumbles in its first few Big 10 games and
02:29 already loses two by the middle of October,
02:32 their season would have been done in years past.
02:35 Now with where the landscape is in CFP, Oregon's still very much in the running
02:40 for a college football playoff spot.
