Thousands of people in Plymouth were sent an emergency alert to their mobile phones on Friday warning them to evacuate before a suspected Second World War explosive device is moved to be disposed of at sea.Devon and Cornwall Police were called on Tuesday morning to St Michael Avenue in the Keyham area of Plymouth after the object was discovered in a garden.
