Ashford magician Chris Harding shows KentOnline some tricks
Transcript
00:00 So I've got these, these are quite cute, my kids made these, they're supposed to be 20 pound notes, not particularly realistic.
00:08 But watch, it's a perfect illusion. Watch the middle of them, slowly.
00:13 You know, obviously from my generation you've got Paul Daniels, because in the time when I was growing up he was always on telly,
00:19 and he was a good all-rounder, did good magic, close-up magic, illusions, comedy.
00:24 And I think that's always really appealed to me, that kind of, you know, entertainment value is huge.
00:30 And I think it's very important with what I do, with close-up magic, because you need that entertainment value for people to kind of want to have you at their events,
00:37 and all the kind of places you're going, you know, working at.
00:40 Go on, okay, so grab one out. Absolutely. Good.
00:46 I just need you to sign your name on the face of the card, on the number sign.
00:50 It doesn't matter if I sit, yeah, go on, turn it around, it's all right, we're all friends here.
00:58 Look at that. It's worth a lot of money now.
01:01 Okay, yeah.
01:02 Sit down straight on it and go.
01:03 Okay.
01:04 And so look, watch, this is what we'll do. We'll put the, leave it inside, somewhere in the middle.
01:08 And we'll use a different card, in this case the six of hearts.
01:13 I'll pop it in this little sleeve.
01:15 Mm-hmm.
01:16 Okay. So look at this, watch.
01:19 Although your card was a six, it's not the six of hearts, but we'll try and do this so that you can sit on the camera, look.
01:23 Just watch it and remember your card and your signature.
01:27 It was the six of clubs, wasn't it?
01:28 It is, look.
01:31 Oh my God. The six of clubs. And there's my signature.
01:37 There it is. Boom.
01:40 Yeah, yeah. How you did that, I don't know.
