International Court begins hearing on Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory

00:09 These sessions are framed in the request of the General Assembly of the United Nations
00:13 to obtain an advisory opinion from this court on the effects of the Israeli occupation for

00:19 During these sessions, which extend from today until February 26, the court will hear reports
00:24 from 52 countries, an unprecedented number in the history of this High Court.
00:28 The African Union, the Islamic Cooperation Organization and the League of Arab States
00:31 will also present statements.
