00:08 You've been in and out of the lineup.
00:13 Was this hard to get ready to go today,
00:15 or were you kind of expecting to go at all?
00:18 Maybe I'm not competing as much as I, you know,
00:22 going out and being the guy, whatever,
00:24 but for me, I'm staying ready.
00:26 I plan on being the guy in March.
00:27 I plan on climbing that podium.
00:30 So, staying ready.
00:31 Just, it is what it is.
00:33 What does senior day mean for you?
00:38 Senior day, it makes me smile seeing you
00:41 because I was that young kid that wanted this,
00:45 and I wrestle.
00:46 You guys really helped me to build a platform
00:48 and to, you know, you guys have been a big part of my journey,
00:53 you know, wrestling in the state of Iowa.
00:54 There's nothing like it.
00:57 And to be able to wrestle here today
01:02 and finish off the career here,
01:04 it's pretty special, you know,
01:06 being that little kid living his dream.
01:08 To get back in the lineup, but then also get the win,
01:13 what does that mean for you?
01:15 You know, I'll wake up tomorrow,
01:18 continue to stay on the routines,
01:20 and stay at it.
01:22 Stay ready.

01:26 Any final touches for the postseason run?
01:29 I mean, that's it.
01:30 Honestly, it's just senior night, all this stuff,
01:32 everything going on.
01:34 It's how do you want to be remembered?
01:36 That's what's going through my head.
01:38 Finish.
01:40 There's been, you know, my career's been up and down
01:42 here and there all over.
01:44 One thing, words that continually come to me,
01:47 come to mind, is just perseverance.
01:50 So, continue to persevere,
01:52 and, you know, I'm blessed with a great family,
01:56 you know, and the foundation of faith.
01:58 And so, whatever is to come, I'm prepared for life.
02:02 And so, that's what senior day means to me,
02:05 just to recollect, you know, everything that has got me to here,
02:12 knowing I'm prepared for life,
02:14 and I get a right to finish, you know, how I want to finish.
02:18 So, excited for what's ahead.
