Calls for permanent police presence at Queensland shopping centre after fatal stabbing

A south east Queensland council is pleading for a permanent police presence at the shopping centre where a grandmother was allegedly murdered. As the state government considers the request, the youth justice minister was spruiking efforts to re-engage troubled kids with the education system.
