New Roller Disco comes to Wolverhampton!

00:07 So we're going to be doing a Roya disco and so yeah, where do you get music and stuff?

00:13 So basically it's open to all ages. It's very family orientated. We get parents skating with the children.

00:21 Recommend you start at age 6. Yeah, yeah, 6 all the way upwards.

00:26 We supply skates. Really good value for money.

00:30 Fantastic. How often do you run?

00:32 We run weekly every Saturday. 1 o'clock till 2.30 every Saturday.

00:36 Fantastic. How long have you guys been skating for?

00:39 I've been skating since I was 2. So 9 years now.

00:44 And I've been skating since I was about 10 and I was British Speed Skating Champion.

00:48 Ah, superb.

00:50 So I had a couple of silver medals in European Championships.

00:53 Wow.

00:54 Yeah, so that's how I got into this.

00:55 And then how did you transition into doing that to what you're doing here today?

00:59 Well, I always wanted to do this. When I was 10, 12, when I was at school, I wanted to run my own roller skating rink.

01:06 So this was always my aim. So I'm from a very young age.

01:10 So when I left school I became a mechanic.

01:14 When I earned enough money to start up my own business, this is what I did.
