The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team is proud to debut its new challenger for the 2024 season – the AMR24. On a significant day for Aston Martin, the new Vantage road car and Aston Martin Vantage GT3 join the AMR24 marking a trilogy of reveals.
In its iconic racing green livery, complete with Aramco title partner branding, the AMR24 represents a strong and exciting evolution from its predecessor which catapulted the team to eight podiums and 280 points in 2023. The AMR24 evolves the same design philosophy but there is minor carryover with the majority of the parts being new for 2024. The continuous refinement of the AMR24 has resulted in a lighter, more aerodynamically efficient race car, designed to operate across a wider range of circuits.

00:00 We are here at the AMRTC, our technology campus in Silverstone, and we are ready for the launch of the AMR24.
00:09 It's very special to have three Aston Martins launched on the same day. It's the first time this has ever happened.
00:15 To be honest, I'm looking forward to see two of them as well, because I have seen the Formula One car, but I have not seen the other two.
00:21 It has been a very short winter this year. The season finished in December, the previous season.
00:29 We had a shutdown, so it's actually one of the shortest winter breaks that we have ever had.
00:35 And it will be the longest season that we have ever had.
00:38 So we had to anticipate and start with the AMR24 on the early side, knowing all this.
00:45 It has been very intense, running the season and developing the AMR23 plus developing the AMR24.
00:54 So it was very, very intense and credit to all the people that were involved.
00:59 Sometimes it was a lot of hours and the lights did not always go off, unfortunately for some.
01:06 But this is what you need to do if you want to bring a strong car in 2024.
01:13 The AMR24 will be a strong evolution of the AMR23.
01:17 And we hope that all this effort from all the people will help us to continue to fight for podiums, for points, but also maybe for our first win.
01:27 2024 is something that we want to improve. We want to improve further.
01:33 We have our objective metric, which is the gap to the fastest car.
01:37 We have managed to substantially reduce that last year compared to 2022.
01:42 And this has led to a lot of podiums, a lot of points, five times more points than we had before.
01:48 So we want to continue to reduce that gap to the fastest car, improve performance, improve in all areas.
01:55 And I think if we manage that, then we will continue to fight for points, continue to fight for podiums and continue to fight for victory.
02:04 Yes, driver continuity into a season is very, very important.
02:09 Each time you change driver, you need to learn how these drivers feel, how they operate technically,
02:15 but also the human side, you have to understand how people are ticking.
02:21 We have this box ticked. We know how Lance, we know how Fernando, how they are.
02:27 They are integral part of the team. We have a very strong relationship with both.
02:33 We love them both, honestly, and it is great to have them continue with us next year and hopefully for much more years.
