00:00 At 3.30 this morning we responded to reports of a building on fire.
00:04 When our crews got here they were confronted by significant fire activity at the rear of the building.
00:09 There was flames and smoke pushing out through all the vents and gaps in the building area.
00:14 Now that fire had taken hold.
00:16 We worked out early that this is an auto electrical workshop.
00:20 We worked out early that an auto electrical workshop with numerous vehicles involved in fire.
00:25 We worked out early high fuel loading with numerous vehicles on fire in the building.
00:30 This fire is starting to push into adjoining occupancies.
00:33 Now firefighters concentrated their first effort in stopping that fire from spreading.
00:38 And those efforts probably saved about 10 or 12 separate occupancies from being impacted by fire.
00:45 They then concentrated on working to contain this fire which took about 2 hours.
00:50 We've got more than 30 cars in the complex.
00:52 A number of them have been destroyed with numerous others suffering smoke and heat damage.
