00:00 [cheers and applause]
00:02 - Hello.
00:03 This evening, we've got a whole bunch of fabulous
00:06 and diverse genderqueer performance,
00:08 and I am incredibly excited to bring this to you.
00:11 The last time Netflix brought this many trans people together
00:14 was for a protest, so...
00:16 - Progress.
00:17 - Whoo!
00:18 [cheers and applause]
00:20 - My name is Jess Thom. I'm trans. Can you tell?
00:23 - Don't answer that.
00:25 - That was a test. You're passing. Am I?
00:27 [laughter]
00:29 - There's something about being the only woman
00:30 that walks into the space in a men's suit
00:32 that makes those straighties think
00:33 you're the most interesting person.
00:35 Like, the women are coming up to you like,
00:37 "I had a sexual experience with a woman once."
00:39 [laughter]
00:40 - Calm down, lesbian.
00:42 [upbeat music]
00:43 - I can't walk the dog while I'm drunk. It's too much.
00:46 She starts barking at people.
00:47 I start yelling at them, too, like, "Who we mad at?"
00:49 [laughter]
00:51 - I struggle with anxiety,
00:53 but I don't want to say that anymore
00:54 because it sounds so negative.
00:55 From now on, I say my mind sparkles with imaginary danger.
01:01 [laughter]
01:02 - Back when I was in school,
01:04 kids used to call me a butt pirate.
01:05 And that was kind of cute. I'm not mad at it.
01:07 I'm really not.
01:09 Although I will admit I do personally prefer
01:11 booty bandit or bum burglar,
01:13 but we can't all be great writers.
01:15 Now can we?
01:17 [upbeat music]
01:18 - Sex work and performance art are very similar.
01:20 Someone's always naked.
01:22 And someone's always thinking, "When is this going to end?"
01:26 - We've all been there.
01:28 [upbeat music]
01:29 - The more that I read about the gay agenda online,
01:31 the more alarmed I'm becoming
01:33 at how much more confident straight people are
01:36 and our ability as gay people to do anything.
01:39 - Our community evaporates
01:41 the moment we have to post a group photo.
01:43 [laughter]
01:44 [upbeat music]
01:48 [dramatic music]
01:50 [thud]
01:52 [music fades]
01:54 [silence]
