00:00 You got Shador. How you feeling, baby?
00:02 Feeling legendary, man.
00:03 Show me something real quick, man.
00:04 I'm wearing the Duel Zone.
00:05 Yeah, okay.
00:06 It's a birthday piece, man. I got it for myself for my birthday.
00:08 When's your birthday?
00:09 February 7th. But what's crazy is Shiloh's is today.
00:12 So you know we got to make it legendary, man.
00:14 Happy birthday, Shiloh. Happy birthday, Shador.
00:16 And my birthday was on the 29th of January, so we doing that thing today.
00:19 Yeah, my mom's is on the 31st, so she Aquarius too, so you know.
00:23 Okay, okay. We in the building. We in the building.
00:25 Shador, everybody knows who you are because you are the next guy.
00:32 You left the HBCU. You're in the Pac-12. I'm a Pac-12 guy as well. I went to SC.
00:37 Now Big 12.
00:38 Now Big 12. Big 10 or whatever they are.
00:41 How was that transition for you playing in the Division I versus playing in HBCU?
00:47 I get a lot of questions like this, but it's completely different.
00:52 It's just a different style of play.
00:55 You got HBCU players able to hit way harder.
00:58 You got HBCU players able to run faster.
01:01 It's just different.
01:06 It's just different. You can't really compare the two HBCUs and Power 5 because it's just like--
01:11 Of course in Power 5 there's more better players on the field at one time,
01:15 but in HBCU you do got a lot of hidden gems.
01:19 A lot of players that it's just overall different.
01:22 Would you say the difference is more so in the depth?
01:26 It's definitely depth. That's a million percent.
01:29 In the facilities, it's a lot of a big upgrade at a Power 5.
01:39 To me, honestly, those things don't matter. You get what I'm saying?
01:42 Those things don't matter, but I know a lot of HBCU players had the same resources.
01:47 They didn't have the same resources as Power 5 players.
01:50 There's definitely some hidden gems in there. A million percent.
01:53 For sure.
01:54 Because they said I was going Power 5 and I wasn't going to do nothing.
01:57 You balled.
01:58 Same people.
01:59 Yes, sir. Next season, Colorado, what are the things that y'all have to do to get to a point where y'all are in BCS contention?
02:07 Just do us and play our game the right way.
02:10 All we need is our linemen just handling their business and being able to run the football,
02:16 being able to just have the right guys around.
02:19 We feel like we got that. We feel super confident going into this offseason.
02:23 Workouts is different. Everything is more serious, but at the same time, more chill because we know we have the right pieces to be successful.
02:31 All right. Let's get off the field for a minute.
02:34 Yeah.
02:35 It went viral. You and your brothers bought your dad a crib.
02:40 Yeah.
02:41 What led to that?
02:42 What it was, we was going to look for him a crib. We was going to look for a crib for him.
02:46 That's what it was. That was the biggest thing. We told him, "We want to get you a crib."
02:53 And then from then on, that's just how it was.
02:58 But that was the thing. Right now, we're still looking for a crib, even to this day.
03:03 But so everybody knows he's staying in Colorado.
03:05 He's staying in Colorado. We love that.
03:07 He wouldn't let us spend our money now and waste it.
03:11 He wouldn't do that.
03:12 Proper investment.
03:13 Yeah, because you can't invest in it in a year and it's going to make its return.
03:17 You know what I mean? So you just got to think about that type of stuff.
03:20 You're not going to make no money doing it.
03:22 Okay. Okay. So obviously, he's staying in Colorado. You're staying in Colorado.
03:27 But if you chose to go to the draft, where do you think you'll get drafted today?
03:32 If you were in this year's draft?
03:34 I'm biased because I don't see a quarterback better than me.
03:38 I don't see a quarterback that went through as much adversity as me that had four different OCs in four years.
03:44 You get what I'm saying?
03:45 Like coming from an HBCU, coming to a Power Five, having real pressure on them.
03:49 A lot of people don't understand it's a lot more adversity than you think, just even being the son of Neon Sanders.
03:55 So it's like you put any one of those guys in those situations, it's not doing that.
03:59 But I respect their game. I respect what they're doing because to be able to be a first-round draft pick,
04:05 to be able to have success on the field, it takes a lot of hard work, determination and everything.
04:10 And they got different challenges they go through.
04:12 But the most pressure and the safest bet is me.
04:17 You got to understand the ratio, 28 to three picks.
04:20 Yeah. Either pressure bursts pipes or pressure creates diamonds.
04:26 And my dog got a lot of diamonds on him. Talk about the celebration of the watch, man.
04:30 Where did that come from, dog?
04:31 It just happened. It didn't come from anything.
04:33 You got to understand greatness is within. You know what I'm saying?
04:36 So it's like I just felt due energy.
04:39 And I'm not the type to really ever like, I don't like ever putting people down.
04:44 You get what I'm saying? Until somebody on negative stuff with me.
04:47 Because I'm a chill guy. But I felt the energy. Then I put the wrist up.
04:53 Talk about the swag, man. I love the swag. I love what you got on.
04:57 Are you one of those guys to where when you picking that fit and you know you got it on,
05:02 you know today you're going to throw for 450 and five of them things.
05:05 Nah, because the fit can't make you. You got to make the fit.
05:08 You got to understand like this right here, this vintage, like this is the vintage right here.
05:12 We, you know, Pop's got a lot of crazy stuff done back in stores that people will pay anything to get right now.
05:19 You know what I'm saying? So I take advantage of, I know I got a great dad,
05:23 so I'm not going to be mad that, you know, he got other resources.
05:26 I'm not going to use them. Nah, I'm going to use everything.
05:28 Yeah, like, you know, you got to be blessed in that position. You got to take full advantage of it.
05:33 OK, so obviously we're in Vegas, Super Bowl on Sunday.
05:36 Yeah, we got Patty McHolmes. We got Brock Purdy.
05:39 Yeah. What do you think those guys have to do to get the victory this week?
05:44 It's about who makes the less mistakes. That's what I noticed in NFL football.
05:48 Like if you, if you, if you putting the ball and all that stuff is cool.
05:53 You know what I'm saying? Like it's fine. Like as long as you don't beat yourself, then that's the main thing.
05:57 But then at the same time, you got people like Patrick Mahomes and Kelsey, all them playmakers.
06:03 Right. So that's going to be the difference if they, if they let explosive plays.
06:07 You understand how OC coach Pat Sherman, he talks to us about that all the time.
06:11 Like I wouldn't be in no other position than I am right now.
06:14 Yeah. Because I got a person that changed everybody's life whenever he was the head coach, you know, for the Broncos and stuff like that.
06:21 So he knows really what everything went down.
06:24 Then a new defensive coordinator got in. So we just in a great place in our life overall.
06:29 And I'm just thankful to be in this position. Who you got winning the Super Bowl?
06:33 And give me a score, dog. Casey. What they got? I can't say a score, bro.
06:37 Yeah. I can't say a score because sometimes we go out there, we think we're going to put up 40 and we put up 20 points.
06:47 You know, so I can't really say a score, but I just know Casey, though.
06:53 Tell me about your partner. We got the Gatorade. You know, we got the Swigs on us.
06:57 Tell me about your partnership with Gatorade, man.
06:59 The Gatorade experience is amazing. They made this whole bottle like within five minutes.
07:04 Legendary. We got the DT2. Don't touch two. That's for the old lineman came up with it.
07:09 Because last year I got touched on the field. I got touched. I got touched.
07:15 So, you know, that was the thing. We just couldn't allow that another year. We can't allow that another year.
07:24 You got to think. You got to think. Everybody in Colorado childish, bro. They childish, bro.
07:28 Bucky, Artem, they be trying to clip what I be saying sometimes. So I got to be very clear with what I'm saying.
07:34 Exactly. Exactly. Ladies and gentlemen, Shadur Sanders, that guy. He is him.
07:38 Yeah. Legendary. Quarterback of the future, my dog. Definitely.
07:41 Appreciate you, baby.
07:42 [WHOOSH]
