00:12 Good morning, we are here with the first news of GMA Integrated News.
00:17 The Bureau of Immigration is investigating the spread of fake identity
00:21 that is used by legitimate documents.
00:24 The agency is also investigating the case of an OFW who used the same name and documents multiple times.
00:31 Salima Refran has the first news.
00:33 Two valid passports but the Bureau of Immigration is investigating one name.
00:44 Because of data privacy, the passport's name is not shown.
00:48 But the names are identical, including the date, year, and place of birth.
00:55 The only difference is the pictures in the passport.
00:59 One of the pictures is from the OFW who was in Saudi Arabia last week.
01:03 But it was found in the records that the passport's name was left behind several times.
01:09 In her story, someone processed her application way back in 2016.
01:15 She gave all the details, she also got her birth certificates and all the documents.
01:22 But she did not continue her trip.
01:24 It seems that she used the identity of another person to leave the OFW.
01:31 The woman admitted that she paid P1,500 to a recruiter to change her age to qualify for work abroad.
01:40 She was taken by the police.
01:42 While abroad, she still had the same identity and was under investigation.
01:47 According to the Bureau of Immigration, it is now up to the Bureau of Immigration to transfer fake identities using valid Philippine documents,
01:55 which are sometimes used by the officers.
01:58 It is up to the Bureau of Immigration to have the original documents of individuals who are not Filipino.
02:05 It's very difficult to intercept cases like this because they have all the complete documents.
02:12 They have the complete documents, the birth certificate, all the clearances, even NBI clearance.
02:19 Sometimes, they get it.
02:21 But at the end of the day, it's not them.
02:24 There's a different person owning that identity.
02:27 This is the first change in the Nima Refrain for the GMA Integrated Use.
02:32 Eggs are now available in the markets and in the whole Philippines.
02:38 But if there's an oversupply, of course, it's not good.
02:44 But for those who sell eggs, it's a big thing for them because more people are buying eggs.
02:51 Actually, here in the Commonwealth Market, the cheapest piece of egg can be bought for P4.
02:57 Actually, they don't sell eggs for P4 anymore.
03:02 The cheapest egg per tray, 30 pieces, can reach P160.
03:08 Compared to December, when the price was really high, each egg can reach P9.
03:14 P7 is the cheapest egg that we can remember.
03:17 That's why there was an issue in the market about why eggs are expensive.
03:22 If there's an oversupply, we can find out from the sellers here if it's good to have an oversupply of eggs.
03:31 No, it's not.
03:32 If it's cheap, the price will go down.
03:36 Yes.
03:37 How much is the cheapest now?
03:38 P160.
03:39 P160.
03:40 Before, the cheapest per tray?
03:42 P200.
03:43 P200.
03:44 So, the difference is P40 compared to the previous price in December.
03:48 But now, we have a lot of eggs.
03:50 Do you buy a lot?
03:52 Yes, we do.
03:53 What do you usually buy?
03:55 The smallest.
03:56 The smallest, P4?
03:58 Yes.
03:59 As you can see, they don't sell eggs for P34 anymore.
04:02 But what's bad about having an oversupply?
04:06 You have a lot of supply.
04:07 What's not good about having an oversupply of eggs?
04:10 Sometimes, we can't avoid having a broken egg.
04:13 A broken egg if you don't buy it right away.
04:15 Yes.
04:16 But now, do you buy more eggs?
04:18 Yes, we do.
04:19 We buy more eggs.
04:20 Usually, the cheapest one?
04:21 Yes.
04:22 The P4?
04:23 Yes, they use it for Tapsi or for burgers.
04:26 So, you prefer having an oversupply?
04:28 Yes.
04:29 But the Department of Agriculture says that they eat a lot of eggs because of the supply.
04:36 Yes, it's easy to cook.
04:37 Yes.
04:38 So, do you think that's what our countrymen are doing now?
04:41 Because eggs are cheap, they buy a lot of eggs to eat?
04:44 Yes.
04:45 We also ask that sometimes.
04:46 What do they say?
04:47 It's easier to cook because you can't buy it right away.
04:51 Because it's expensive in the store.
04:52 Yes.
04:53 The price is still 9 pesos.
04:55 So, what do you think?
04:56 You prefer having an oversupply than a shortage?
05:00 Yes, we prefer having an oversupply.
05:02 It's better to have an oversupply.
05:04 Thank you.
05:05 Yes.
05:06 A lot of people buy eggs here in the Commonwealth Market.
05:09 Actually, earlier, we saw our fellow countrymen.
05:12 They said that the cheapest eggs are 4 pesos per piece.
05:17 And this is where they put the eggs.
05:21 You can buy eggs.
05:22 You put it here.
05:24 And our fellow countrymen said that it's better to have an oversupply.
05:28 So, the most expensive eggs here are for 360 pesos per tray.
05:34 That's 30 pesos.
05:36 And the cheapest is 160 pesos.
05:40 This is the small size of the eggs.
05:44 That's for 160 pesos.
05:46 But in December, when we had a lot of occasions,
05:50 we used eggs as our preparation.
05:53 The cheapest eggs were for 200 pesos per tray.
05:57 So, if we ask the sellers here,
05:59 it's better to have an oversupply than a shortage in the supply of eggs.
06:05 So, that's the situation here in the Commonwealth Market in Quezon City.
06:11 That's the situation of the sellers of eggs due to the oversupply.
06:15 We were just talking to the Department of Agriculture
06:18 to ask them about the oversupply of eggs.
06:22 But they haven't answered our calls and texts that we sent to them.
06:28 Meanwhile...
06:33 The Department of Agriculture, represented by Pantaleon Alvarez,
06:37 who is not considered a sedition,
06:39 is being urged by former President Rodrigo Duterte
06:42 to separate the Mindanao from the Philippines.
06:45 In a statement by Super Radio DZBB,
06:47 Alvarez said that he studied what sedition is
06:51 and that it's not in his dictionary that they allowed the former president.
06:56 This week, we will be informed by Governor Xavier Romualdo
07:00 that Duterte and Alvarez could be criminally liable for sedition
07:04 if their plan to separate the two countries is put to the test.
07:07 Alvarez said that they are doing it in a peaceful way
07:11 because they want the two countries to have their own government.
07:14 The GMA Integrated News is also trying to get a reaction from Duterte
07:19 regarding Romualdo's statement.
07:22 I assume full responsibility for my actions.
07:29 We did not intend to cause trouble.
07:33 That's why I keep saying that we should do this in a peaceful way.
07:39 We will not cause trouble.
07:41 Capuso actress Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque are on break
07:53 according to their close friend, Boy Abunda.
07:58 As we talked today, yes, Dominic and Bea are separated.
08:02 Is Bea still trying to talk?
08:05 Maybe.
08:07 Will this happen again?
08:10 Will Dominic and Bea succeed in their relationship?
08:15 We don't know.
08:16 Bea revealed in 2021 that she is in a romantic relationship with Dom.
08:21 Dominic proposed to Bea last July.
08:24 Bea and Dom recently spotted each other on their Japan trip.
08:29 The two broke up after the news broke
08:31 that Bea's latest post did not include the ring that Dom gave her.
08:37 Yesterday, Tito Boy said that according to his source,
08:41 Bea already denied the engagement ring to Dominic.
08:44 Tito Boy also clarified a few more issues.
08:50 The one who volunteered to Bea's mom that the prenup was okay was Dominic.
08:56 So I don't think it is and it was an issue unless the story changed.
09:03 The narrative is not about Bea's problem that's why they broke up.
09:08 Bea wants to save this relationship.
09:10 Bea wants this to work.
09:13 Bea and Dominic have not yet personally announced their separation.

09:20 Peke Online is now watching the one-year free ride on the train.
09:25 Departure and transportation are worried that the social media pages that post this are not connected to them.
09:33 Live from MRT North Avenue Station, we have first news from James Agustin.
09:38 James.
09:41 Good morning.
09:44 As we always remind our fellow citizens, think before you click.
09:48 Because of the current situation, the wrong information on social media is important to be monitored
09:54 and be careful so that online scams will not be victimized.
09:57 Even though some are claiming to be connected to government agencies.
10:03 The Department of Transportation is aware of a Facebook page
10:11 that posted a 12-month free subway ride card using a VIP card.
10:16 It's a scam so don't be fooled.
10:19 The page is not connected to DOTR or any of its attached agencies.
10:24 According to some of the MRT 3 passengers who use VIP cards,
10:28 they don't believe it.
10:30 They say it's too good to be true.
10:33 It's too long.
10:35 I don't believe it.
10:38 Of course I would be angry because why are they showing such information,
10:42 especially to us commuters because it's important to us.
10:46 DOTR's advice to the public to avoid such scams,
10:49 visit their official communication channels like verified social media accounts and official websites.
10:56 What if some people discard it so that the wrong information on social media will not be victimized?
11:02 Our source should be valid like the news from the GMA.
11:08 We validate the website, especially those on Facebook that have legitimate pages.
11:16 That's the source we will look for.
11:18 Be careful with using social media.
11:28 The best way to discard it is for our fellow citizens who are daily on social media,
11:34 verify the pages they see.
11:38 If it's fake, delete it and if the information they read online is true.
11:44 First news from Quezon City. I'm James Agustin for GMA Integrated News.
11:49 Despite the traffic jams, there are still many tricycles, pedicabs and e-bikes passing through national highways.
11:56 First news live, Niko Wahe. Niko.
12:00 Good morning Ivan.
12:06 The DILG is calling for the local government to strictly prohibit the use of tricycles, pedicabs, e-bikes and e-trikes on national highways.
12:15 That's to avoid accidents.
12:17 Here in Manila, it seems like there's no fear for those transportations that can pass through the highway.
12:26 The prohibition of tricycles and pedicabs on national highways is not new.
12:32 But that's just it.
12:33 There are always people who will be aggressive, especially if there's no traffic enforcer.
12:37 Here at the intersection of TAF Avenue and United Nations Avenue,
12:41 we haven't even passed 10 minutes earlier, it's 4 in the morning,
12:45 the tricycles, pedicabs, e-bikes and e-trikes that are passing through are not counted.
12:51 That's not even a left turn. There are other tricycles that are really passing through TAF Avenue.
12:56 All of them, there's no fear even if there are buses and bigger vehicles on the road.
13:02 Mang Raul admitted that tricycles have been passing through below the Bloom Motoda for a long time.
13:07 Or those who are traveling from General Luna to Otis,
13:10 where it's really unavoidable for tricycles to pass through the intersection of TAF and UN.
13:15 We are passing through the back, we are on the secondary road.
13:19 But sometimes, when a patient goes to the hospital,
13:24 we can't avoid passing through the National Road because
13:27 all the hospitals in this area are on the National Road.
13:32 There are also many passengers who don't want to walk far, that's why they are choosing to use tricycles.
13:37 We are afraid when the passengers are really aggressive,
13:42 especially when they are old and can't walk.
13:45 We are passing through them because we can't do anything if they are not passing through.
13:50 Because they don't have other vehicles.
13:52 But according to DILG, whatever the reason,
13:55 tricycles and pedicabs are really prohibited on National Highways.
13:59 DILG Secretary Benjur Abalos again reminded us that
14:03 after a tricycle was hit by a bus in Labo, Camarines Norte,
14:07 he appealed to LGUs to enforce this to avoid accidents.
14:12 Ivan, here in Metro Manila in 2022,
14:17 according to the Metro Manila Accident and Reporting System,
14:22 there are more than 3,000 accidents involving pedicabs, e-bikes, and e-trikes.
14:30 Another number, there are almost 2,000 accidents involving tricycles.
14:37 Live from Manila, I'm Nico Juage for GMA Integrated News.
14:42 Some senators believe that President Bongbong Marcos should meet with the Senate and House of Representatives regarding the charter change.
14:52 Some senators are highly concerned about the resolution of the House of Representatives
14:57 that is asking for support from Speaker Martin Romualdo.
15:00 The House of Representatives is concerned about the resolution of the House of Representatives that has an intense assault or attack on the Senate.
15:07 Senator Francis Escudero is not attacking the defense of the Constitution and the Senate.
15:14 He will call on the President to give Romualdo a chance.
15:19 Senator Gingo Estrada also has the same opinion.
15:25 Maybe the President can talk to the two leaders of the chamber,
15:30 Senate President Subirian and Speaker Romualdo, but maybe we can fix it on our own.
15:35 House Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio Gonzalez Jr. said that if senators were hurt in terms of the intense assault on their resolution,
15:47 they would be hurt because they are the ones who are being forced to sign the People's Initiative.
15:55 House Majority Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe also challenged the senators who are the ones who are being forced to amend the Constitution.
16:04 The senators also called for the President to meet with the young Representative Geraldine Roman.
16:11 That is not the job of the President.
16:15 I don't think it is the duty of the President to rein in the House Speaker.
16:20 We are independent branches of government. The Speaker is not a puppet of the President.
16:26 Why don't you, 24, come out in the open?
16:29 Who is in favor to amend the Constitution?
16:33 Who are the opponents?
16:35 And the people of the Philippines will decide whom to put in the Senate.
16:42 The GMA Integrated is also trying to get the approval of Malacanang, his brother.
16:46 This January, President Sen. Subirian and Speaker Romualdo helped the President in discussing the amendment of the Constitution, which was supported by Romualdo.
17:07 The University of Perpetual Health System, Delta, won the most prizes from the table tennis competition of NCAA Season 99.
17:16 Perpetual was the champion in the Women's Division and Junior's Division.
17:20 The Most Valuable Player at Rookie of the Year was also chosen for the Division and the Coach of the Year in two categories.
17:28 Perpetual was also one of the most prestigious Freshmen of the Year in the Women's Division.
17:33 The College of St. Benedict was the winner of the Men's Division.
17:37 From CSB, Perpetual was the MVP, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year of the Division.
17:43 Capuso's prime time queen, Marian Rivera, was shocked by the manipulated social media post about her.
17:58 Marian posted a screenshot from her ex-account on her Facebook page.
18:04 But the words and the statement about her were edited.
18:09 Marian has no ex-account.
18:11 In her caption about this, she denied that she said it.
18:15 Marian, please stop making manipulated posts and delete the post.
18:22 Don't read the manual. Everything is positive.
18:27 Capuso, for you to be always the first to know the latest news, visit and subscribe to GMA Integrated News on YouTube.
