00:20 Alyssa writes in a February 1st Instagram post, "Every parent raises money for their

00:25 child's sports teams and many of them do so through GoFundMe.

00:30 I am no different."

00:32 She continues, "As much as I'd love to pay for the entire team and their families

00:36 for travel, transportation, hotel, food and beverage, uniforms, trading pins, and all

00:43 the things teams do for this kind of trip, I cannot afford to do so.

00:48 Maybe someday.

00:49 Also, if I did pay for everything, my trolls would find something else to be hurtful about."

00:55 Additionally, Alyssa shares screenshots of the messages sent to her pre-teen.

01:01 She adds, "Regardless of how you feel about me, going to my hard-working 12-year-old

01:06 son's Instagram page and leaving these kind of messages is so horrid.

01:15 The photo, which shows a commenter calling Alyssa's ask for donations "beyond ridiculous"
