00:00 We're here with Labyrinth and Icon the Legend the Moment.
00:04 Oh man, that means a lot.
00:05 I mean, look at you.
00:06 You really, I think, are the pro at capturing emotion in your song.
00:11 Not only on your own music, but also with artists like Billie Eilish,
00:15 with Zendaya, with Noah Cyrus back in the day.
00:18 I mean, how do you tap into that in every studio session?
00:22 Um, I guess they say part of making music is spiritual.
00:26 That's what it is for me.
00:27 Every time I write a song, I go somewhere.
00:29 So, and I said it to a lot of my friends,
00:33 I always want my music to move me.
00:35 And I hope it will do it to someone else.
00:37 So, that's the way I think when I'm writing a song.
00:40 I was just saying that the whole Billboard crew looks so sick.
00:43 You guys are dressed better than the artists at the Grammys.
00:46 What's going on here?
00:47 No, we're just trying to keep up with you.
00:48 We're trying to keep up with you.
00:50 You guys look incredible.
00:51 But I think what you've been saying, I think, fits so well
00:55 with why you were such a good fit for the soundtrack of Euphoria.
00:58 Oh yeah, yeah.
00:59 It's such an emotionally heightened TV series
01:02 that you need an emotional soundtrack like that.
01:05 I mean, how collaborative was that process,
01:07 getting to make the music for such an iconic show?
01:10 Um, it was, the first season, I was in my garage somewhere in the UK.
01:16 And then the second season was much more, like, kind of integrated.
01:20 I worked with Zendaya, I worked with Sam.
01:22 And that was a really amazing process.
01:24 So, I think both processes were great.
01:26 But the fundamental thing that remained was just, like,
01:30 just kind of go into that place.
01:33 And you want to make sure the music connects to you
01:35 before it connects to other people.
01:36 And hopefully they feel the same thing that you feel, you know?
01:38 I mean, I love that.
01:39 Is there an artist that you're really wanting to team up with moving forward?
01:42 Um, man, there's always artists.
01:44 I think anyone that loves music as much as I do,
01:47 I'm willing to work with.
01:48 100%.
01:49 I mean, back to the fashion, though.
01:51 You say we look great.
01:52 You look great.
01:53 I mean, what is this look?
01:55 I mean, you brought all the pattern, all the color.
01:57 I love it.
01:58 Every bit.
01:59 I'm wearing Yoji Amamoto.
02:01 I got my Cartier on today.
02:03 Wow, you're not messing around.
02:05 You're not messing around.
02:06 I don't even know where my boots are from,
02:07 so I can't even lie about that one.
02:09 But thank you so much, Lambert.
02:11 You're incredible.
02:12 So nice to meet you.
