Mona (Lena Olin) seduces Jack (Gary Oldman) in the motel room before federal agents arrive.

REVIEW:
Gary Oldman plays New York police officer Jack Grimaldi, who has a lovely house, a gorgeous wife named Natalie (Annabella Sciorra), and a charming but foolish mistress named Sheri (Juliette Lewis). Additionally, Jack makes additional money by turning on Mafia boss Don Falcone (Roy Scheider) to mob witnesses. Assigned to watch after the ferociously attractive hit woman Mona Demarkov (Lena Olin), who was born in Russia, Jack gives in to temptation almost immediately and lets Mona go. Jack is under Falcone's orders to locate and murder Mona, and if he fails, he faces possible murder. In order to get rid of Falcone and stage her own death, Mona offers to pay Jack. Jack's life is left in ruins after a number of plot twists and turns.
