00:00 Welcome to WatchMojo and today we're taking a look at the Top 10 Tekken Bosses You Can
00:11 Be Sure Will Flatten You If You Aren't Prepared.
00:22 Number 10 - Heihachi Mishima - Tekken
00:30 Of the few times where Heihachi acted as the final boss, this is definitely where he was
00:34 the most difficult.
00:35 What's funny is that it's not even the character himself that makes the fight so
00:38 difficult.
00:39 The very first Tekken game came out in 1995 and the controls haven't aged well.
00:44 The advancements in modern gaming and controls make the input delay painfully obvious and
00:48 it can potentially make you mess up combos.
00:50 As for Grandpa Mishima himself, Heihachi can make quick work of you in just a couple of
00:54 moves.
01:01 Not only do his punches deal a ton of damage, but many of his attacks are impossible to
01:04 punish.
01:05 The one move to watch out for?
01:07 The Demon Uppercut.
01:09 One hit with that will send you flying into the air and all Heihachi needs to do after
01:12 is land a basic combo.
01:14 Bam, you're done.
01:22 Number 9 - Unknown - Tekken Tag Tournament
01:32 Unknown by herself is not all that difficult.
01:35 She's just a sexy, goopy version of Mokujin, a new character that can just randomly imitate
01:39 any character's moves.
01:41 But what makes her a nightmare is her ghostly wolf-beast companion fighting alongside her.
01:51 Thanks to this, Unknown can deal way more damage than a team of two normal characters.
01:55 Not only that, she can regenerate health throughout the entire fight, only able to be KO'd once
02:00 the red bar indicating health lost is fully depleted.
02:03 This makes the fight feel like it goes on for an eternity and gives Unknown plenty of
02:07 time to make a cheap comeback should you slack off for even a second.
02:18 Number 8 - Devil Kazuya - Tekken 2
02:27 While Tekken 2's controls were a significant improvement over its predecessors, it still
02:31 didn't make our fight with Kazuya any easier.
02:34 Again, that input delay.
02:36 Technical age aside, Kazuya's fight is a tough two-parter.
02:39 You'll fight him in his normal state first, and he isn't a joke.
02:42 Kazuya's AI is smart enough to recognize all the usual trappings, how to escape throws
02:46 quickly, and will block most of your attacks without fail.
02:55 Mix-ups will be your best friend here, and once you've won two rounds, things change.
03:00 You'll have to endure another two rounds with Kazuya, but against him in his devil form.
03:04 With his newfound powers, Kazuya can fire off laser beams from on the ground and even
03:09 mid-air.
03:10 Oh, and he doesn't even need to hit you with the beam.
03:12 Just standing too close to him will damage you.
03:15 Complete 90's nonsense.
03:23 Number 7 - Jun Kazama - Tekken Tag Tournament 2
03:31 While Jun Kazama was the final boss in the first Tekken Tag Tournament as the mysterious
03:34 Unknown, her appearance in the sequel is arguably much harder.
03:38 Whereas the previous game only required you to win one round against her, Tekken Tag Tournament
03:42 2 retains the standard rule set - two rounds required to win.
03:46 Jun doesn't mess around here either.
03:55 While some of her previous moves have been removed, her moveset in general has been expanded
03:59 with a focus on chaining attacks together, some of them even being counterattacks.
04:03 The fight only gets tougher when you win the first round.
04:06 After one defeat, Jun transforms into the Unknown and corrupts the dreamy background.
04:17 Under this new form, she'll utilize other moves such as a wind geyser and constructs
04:21 made of slime.
04:22 Oh, and throughout the fight, she will regenerate lost health.
04:25 So yeah, Jun's mother will smack the crap out of you.
04:34 Number 6 - Jinpachi Mishima - Tekken 5 - Dark Resurrection
04:46 Both versions of the ancient Mishima in Tekken 5 and its Dark Resurrection are crazy hard
04:51 in and of themselves.
04:52 However, we want to spotlight Dr. Jinpachi specifically for this list as he is way more
04:57 aggressive there than in the original.
05:06 Jinpachi comes with the same asinine tricks as he had before - the teleporting, the stomach
05:11 fireball, everything.
05:12 The thing that makes him harder in Dark Resurrection is the spamming.
05:16 Good god, this guy spams a lot.
05:19 Good luck trying to avoid those unblockable fireballs and anticipating his rushdowns.
05:31 Number 5 - Devil Kazuya - Tekken 7
05:40 Whereas Kazumi is the tough boss for T7's arcade mode, Kazuya makes you work for the
05:44 ending to story mode.
05:45 A regular fight with him just isn't enough, though.
05:48 For the grand finale, you will have to fight him as Heihachi.
05:53 Yep, it's time to break out those classic Tekken skills while the Mishima manchild gets
06:02 to use the powers of flight, hellfire, and eye lasers to make quick work of you.
06:07 And yes, every hit seems to do way more damage than what Heihachi can normally dish out,
06:11 which itself is a lot compared to the rest of the cast.
06:14 And fair in every way.
06:24 Number 4 - Nancy Mi-8 47J - Tekken 6
06:37 At first, we weren't going to include Nancy due to her being an impossible to beat bonus
06:41 boss.
06:42 But at the end of the day, a boss is a boss, and Nancy is the cheapest of the bunch.
06:46 Upon throwing your first punch, you'll notice that this goliath of a robot does not flinch.
06:50 Your attacks cannot interrupt whatever it's doing, and you'll only take out an incredibly
06:54 measly fraction of its health with one combo.
06:59 Yeah, it's that strong.
07:05 Plus, Nancy comes equipped with a bunch of unblockable moves, one of which can cut a
07:09 hole in the ground and cause you to fall off the stage, resulting in an instant defeat.
07:14 It's all total BS, but being a bonus optional boss is what keeps Nancy from the top spot.
07:26 Number 3 - Akuma - Tekken 7
07:35 Is it really any surprise to see Akuma on the list?
07:38 While Kazumi serves as the final boss in Tekken 7's Arcade Mode, you can sometimes face Akuma
07:42 instead.
07:43 And man, it's almost like Bandai Namco ripped him straight out of Street Fighter.
07:53 Akuma pulls all of the tricks in the book, the teleporting, the Hadoukens, the Shoryuken,
07:58 and even the ultimate move, Wrath of the Raging Demon.
08:01 The fight against him in the main story mode is a different Akuma altogether.
08:04 More projectiles, more rushdown, more damage resistance - it all makes him a nightmare.
08:09 Honestly, mad props to those of you who managed to defeat him with a perfect 10 stars.
08:21 Number 2 - Kazuya - Tekken 8
08:27 Look, we know Kazuya has cropped up three times on this list now, but this version of
08:35 him is the most ruthless we've seen him.
08:38 In Tekken 8's story mode, the final fight against Kazuya goes on for an insanely long
08:42 time, about two whole chapters.
08:44 You fight him normal with half of the Devil Gene's power, then you fight him in Jin's
08:48 Angel form, and finally, some classic good-ass Tekken.
08:52 However, he does not hold back.
09:00 Kazuya can easily catch you in a lengthy combo, taking off a massive chunk of your health
09:04 bar.
09:05 Before you know it, fight's over, you lose.
09:07 Continue?
09:08 Hell no.
09:09 Get away with what sanity remains if you have to.
09:38 Number 1 - Azazel - Tekken 6
09:49 Even having been through the absolute bullshit employed by Akuma and Jinpachi, we'd still
09:53 say Azazel is the hardest Tekken boss.
09:55 Jinpachi is still beatable, and the main story fight against Akuma gives you your own unique
09:59 powers to fight with.
10:00 Azazel, on the other hand, requires you beat him through normal means while he gets to
10:04 use a variety of asinine abilities.
10:15 We're talking super armor, teleporting from the sky at random, summoning crystal spikes
10:19 from the floor, sending bats that blend into the environment after you, and resisting most
10:23 attacks.
10:24 It's also nearly impossible to launch him as he falls super quickly and does not flinch
10:28 from most moves.
10:29 You need to land consecutive hits to get him in the air, and if the preceding fight against
10:33 Jin wasn't bad enough, Azazel really made us steer clear of Tekken 6.
