00:00 Hi, Kieran, Aaron!
00:02 Hello, how are you?
00:03 We good, guys?
00:04 Pretty good?
00:05 There's a little red light, so you're probably good.
00:06 You're almost out of time, so you better hurry up.
00:07 Oh my god, okay, um, you probably don't--
00:09 And that's time.
00:10 Sorry, it was really nice, though, to chat.
00:12 Yeah, it was wonderful.
00:13 George Whipple's here, I gotta go chat with him.
00:15 Yeah, alright.
00:16 Okay, so you don't remember this moment, but I was the lady who screamed, "You're a legend!"
00:20 out on the streets yesterday.
00:22 I heard that, that was you?
00:23 That was me.
00:24 You did that so you could have this moment and put me on the spot and go, "What'd you think of that?"
00:28 or something like that. I thought, "Crazy lady yelling at someone else."
00:32 So do you agree? Do you think you're a legend?
00:35 I think you're a crazy lady who was probably yelling at someone else, and you're like,
00:38 "Oh shit, I gotta go interview that guy. I'll pretend I was talking to him."
00:41 I did tell Sarah Snook that she was an icon a couple days ago, so whatever.
00:43 She is.
00:44 Icon, legend, you know, whatever.
00:45 She is an icon, yeah.
00:46 So, I heard that you and Jesse had immediate chemistry when it came to filming this.
00:52 That's interesting.
00:53 Is it interesting?
00:54 Well, because I think our styles clashed. I wouldn't disagree with what you said,
00:59 but our styles definitely clashed, and it took about a week to adjust to the way that we work.
01:04 We work quite differently.
01:05 And he told me afterwards, it was like a few days in, or a week or so in,
01:12 he came to the room, the little shitty little trailer I was in, and he was like,
01:15 "Okay, are you ready for today?"
01:17 I was like, "Oh, I don't actually know what we're shooting today, but it'll be fine."
01:19 And that made him really nervous.
01:21 He was like, "It's fine. I've read the script. I know what each scene is. It's fine. I'll just figure it out."
01:24 He's like, "You don't know your lines?" I said, "I'll know them. It's fine."
01:27 And it got him really anxious, which he's just an anxious person.
01:29 Just now, I had my arm around him, and he was shaking.
01:31 I said, "Are you shaking?"
01:32 He was like, "Yeah."
01:33 I said, "Does this make you nervous?"
01:34 He goes, "Everything when I go outside makes me nervous."
01:38 Anyway, so that's the kind of person.
01:39 And he was like, "And you're not anxious?"
01:40 And I was like, "No."
01:41 He was like, "Are you anxious about any part of this? Nervous?"
01:44 I said, "No."
01:45 And he goes, "Are you?"
01:47 I said, "No, because I sort of thought--"
01:50 He goes, "Did you think when we started this that you would be like me?"
01:53 And I said, "No, not at all."
01:55 "Why? Did you think we would be alike?"
01:56 He goes, "I definitely thought we would be alike."
01:58 I said, "Why would you think that?"
01:59 He goes, "I don't know."
02:01 And then he just left nervous that we were not going to get the scene, and we did.
02:05 So we're just two very different people that happen to do the same job, and we work differently.
02:09 But I think once we started doing it, it worked.
02:12 Okay. Well, we are all excited to see the film.
02:14 What did Jazz promise you if you win an Oscar for this film?
02:18 You want to know what's funny? She did say something.
02:21 She made a joke. She said, "Pine, you can have a fourth kid only if you win an Oscar."
02:24 And I said, "You're an idiot because, like, you say that to anybody, yeah, that's the long shot."
02:28 "And it's the long shot no matter what and who you are."
02:30 I said, "But I work in the field."
02:32 You could have said, like, "Nobel Peace Prize-- President of the United States."
02:35 Like, "I'm not in that field. I'll never-- That'll never happen."
02:38 But I think we're probably done at two kids, actually, so we'll see.
02:42 Well, I guess we'll see.
02:44 I spoke to Pedro a couple days ago.
02:47 If he were to enact his revenge, what does your hell look like?
02:50 What does my hell look like if he were to enact his revenge?
02:53 Like, if he were to come at me?
02:55 Good luck, bro. Like, I'll whoop his a**.
02:58 Like, he's got no chance.
03:01 And lastly, you worked with Emma on this film. She's a producer.
03:05 You guys have remained friends, and everyone loves that.
03:08 What was it like working together on this project?
03:10 She's great. She's a really wonderful person.
03:14 So I knew that that wasn't going to be--
03:18 It's nice because you go into a job, and most of the time you don't really know anybody.
03:22 You meet them, and then you start the job, and you hope that they weren't just, you know, feeding you whatever.
03:29 They're actually going to be easy people to work with, and you don't really know.
03:32 But in this case, going in, I'm like, "Oh, okay. Well, at least that part's taken care of."
03:35 I know that-- And she could vouch for Jesse, who I didn't really know.
03:38 So I was like, "All right, I'm going into a situation where the producers are going to be great,
03:42 and where the filmmaker will, you know, be nice, too."
03:46 So it was good.
03:48 Great. Well, have so much fun today.
03:50 Be good out there, Legend.
