00:00 Steve Smith stepping into that opening position, have you shared any friendly advice with him over the past few training sessions?
00:05 I don't think I have to, the man scored twice as many more runs than I have.
00:08 I think that would be the opposite.
00:09 I think it would be the opposite but I like to call him youngster, a little condescending youngster just to get him going because he's the younger opening partner and he's younger than me so I've got that on him.
00:18 I'm always so proud of what he does on the field but I've always said it's what he does off the field that makes me the most proud.
00:22 I think standing up for what we believe in and what matters that are really important to us and to our heart and staying true to the person that he is, that's just Aussie to a T.
00:33 I think he's doing that more now than ever and I think that's really beautiful.
00:38 How's the past few months been for you? You've had a lot more media attention and spotlight.
00:43 You've been debated all through the mainstream media, how has it been and what kind of support have you received?
00:48 Life outside of cricket, even during cricket, is very normal and Rachel's the reason for it.
00:53 We don't talk too much cricket when I get home.
00:55 We've got kids, we've got two kids, they take plenty of time and I love that, we love that.
01:00 I play the game, I love the game but when I come home I'm just a dad and a husband.
01:06 A lot of that stems from Rach so I love everything that she brings and helps me out with.
01:13 So a lot of stuff that happens in the periphery I don't really pay attention to.
