00:00 House Speaker Martin Romualdez said that he is just an advisor to the leaders of the People's Initiative for the Charter Change.

00:07 This was followed by the revelation of Senator Aimee Marcos at the Senate hearing that Romualdez helped some of the leaders of the People's Initiative.

00:16 In the picture shown by Marcos, Romualdez is with the lead convener of the group signed by Sen. Uella Oñate and some other members of the group.

00:27 Romualdez confirmed the help that happened to his townhouse, but he said that his participation is purely advisory and that he did not lead the signature campaign.

00:37 He also said that he had no knowledge of any illegal activities such as buying signatures.

00:43 Oñate's group said that their group is still the one leading the People's Initiative.

00:52 It's very clear that Speaker Martin Romualdez is supporting your group. He is all out behind the People's Initiative. Is that correct?

01:00 Yes, we coordinate with the Speaker and the congressmen in getting the 3% per congressional district.

01:07 I'm confused. They are signing the Politicians' Initiative, just like what Senator Pablo said.

01:14 No, they are just helping. But we are the one at the forefront of getting the signatures.

01:22 I think there is nothing wrong with accepting help from the congressmen.
