Sydney Harbour swimmers warned to avoid the water at dawn and dusk following shark attack

Sydneysiders are reconsidering their swims and paddles in the harbour, after a woman was attacked by a bull shark on Monday night.

00:20 But we have spoken to a few people who have said that they might think twice before returning
00:25 to the waters after that shark attack.

00:44 Now Gemma, the message from authorities is to beware when heading into the waters.
00:48 We know that there are bull sharks in and around Sydney Harbour.
00:52 Around 87 have been tagged and tracked since 2009.
00:56 So if you are going for a dip, the advice is to avoid dusk and dawn swims.
