00:00 Since we started doing the roadworks, particularly the roundabout, business has dropped quite massively.
00:07 About half, pretty much.
00:09 And I've noticed customers that have come in have been asking us, saying to us, "Are you still open?"
00:14 So yeah, of course we're still open, especially with the scaffolding around.
00:17 But a lot of people are saying, "I don't want to come into town. It's too stressful. It's just too stressful.
00:24 And when is it going to be finished? When is it going to be done?"
00:26 And I can't really give them answers on that.
00:28 As far as the council's got, they've been quite delayed or pretty much non-existent on telling us what the roadworks are doing,
00:36 the plans, and how they're moving forward and when they plan to finish.
00:39 For example, they closed the road just further up on the roundabout, it's Turnright, I think it's Croft Street,
00:46 and it was last Monday they closed that, and I got an email on Friday to tell us they've closed it.
00:52 The diversion signs are properly done.
00:55 And when I asked one of the workers, he said, "It's just been a mess."
00:59 But I just hope that the council realise that it is affecting businesses and town centres a lot.
01:08 And, well, fingers crossed they get it done a lot quicker than what they had planned to do.
