00:00 The Aon Clot just spoke to the media after the bombshell news that he'll leave Liverpool at the end of the season after more than 8 years in a managerial hot seat.
00:09 I mean the news came as a massive shock for everyone involved, the football club I think, supporters alike and the media as well, no one was expecting it.
00:17 Because of the success that he's brought to Liverpool and what he's done, he's re-established the club among the European elite and he's won 6 major trophies including the Champions League and the Premier League.
00:29 That's why I was able to help and press conference him and CEO Billy Hogan were both on duty.
00:38 Clot said that he just doesn't feel like he's got the energy anymore as such.
00:45 He said that he's not the best manager in the world he doesn't think but he needs energy and that to drive him on.
00:51 It got to the point where he started planning stuff for next season and he started thinking can I do it anymore and he's decided he wasn't.
00:59 He said that the players delivered the news and it was sad but it's about getting over the task ahead.
01:05 Liverpool are still fighting on all four fronts this season, top of the Premier League by 5 points and there's still a lot that Liverpool can play for this season.
01:15 It's massive but this doesn't prove a distraction for the Reds.
01:21 Jacob has asked will he be involved in the process to replace us. He firmly said no he won't be.
01:28 He said why would I be?
01:31 He went on to discuss things such as being proud as being an honorary scout.
01:37 He said he won't be managing any other club in England after he leaves.
01:43 He said that with the clubs media announcement.
01:46 He said it again today, he said if he doesn't have any food he still wouldn't.
01:51 He made the joke that Liverpool have paid him very well so that won't be a problem.
01:55 He also said that he won't be changing his mind even if Liverpool did win the Premier League and Europa League.
02:03 Carlos Bergsen said in 2001 he was leaving Man United and he changed his mind and he was there for another 11 years.
02:10 Jürgen Klopp said he's certainly not doing that.
02:12 Billy Hogan, the Liverpool CEO, next to him answered a few questions.
02:16 The main one was who will be replacing Jürgen Klopp and what's the process on that one.
02:22 He said there's no timescale on it.
02:26 He said that Liverpool will be doing the due diligence. They've obviously had this before previously.
02:31 They'll be doing the due diligence and when there is an update they'll give one.
02:36 Behind the scenes the work is going to go on and that's what exactly will happen.
02:40 That's why Klopp's made this announcement now and they've come to the agreement.
02:44 So Liverpool have the best chance of finding a replacement.
02:47 Names like Xabi Alonso, the former Liverpool midfielder who won the Champions League for the club in 2005.
02:53 Working with ones like Bruce Lee at Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Roberto Sazabi, the Brighton manager who's been touted.
03:02 But ultimately FSG have got to come to a decision.
03:05 Billy Hogan said that Michael Orden, FSG president, will be leading the recruitment process.
03:13 So all eyes really on that now.
03:15 Liverpool have got a game in two days' time against Norwich City in the FA Cup.
03:19 They're still fighting off off-run.
03:21 So that's where Jürgen Klopp's focus is now.
03:24 Certainly a lot of Liverpool fans' focus will be on who will be replacing Jürgen Klopp in the long term and who can fill his vacuum.
