00:00 So just say who you are.
00:06 Sergeant Liz Lemondoski, West Midlands Police.
00:08 We're just here at Aldersey Stadium, Lizzie, and what's happening today?
00:12 So I'm here to speak to the foundation around football hooliganism, what we do as a football unit,
00:20 what dedicated football officers do and obviously the other work we do around hate crime and misogyny in relation to football.
00:25 And that's some of the issues we get, there's a lot of people caught up in this that aren't out on a lunch on a Saturday.
00:32 We've seen this quite a lot recently, people running on trying to attack players.
00:40 We had Jack Regan's punch famous there about four years ago, it was like, "Burger City time".
00:46 She's just down from the ground, her car's just there, literally by the train station, getting off the bus trying to...
01:01 Are you a local girl, are you a Wolves fan, Albion fan, or are you sitting on the fence for this one?
01:05 I have to pay for food when it comes to stuff like that, unfortunately.
01:08 Especially when we're both working on Sunday.
01:11 Well I won't ask you what the result will be, but what would you like it to be?
01:16 My result would be everyone coming home safe, having a great day, enjoying themselves.
01:23 She's been media trained, well done.
01:25 So today though is all about teaching, it doesn't matter where you're from, you've got to show people respect.
01:32 Absolutely, and it's about rivalry but in a friendly way, in a good way and in the spirit of the game.
01:38 Friendly banter but nothing more.
01:40 Yeah, absolutely, in the spirit of the game and making sure that everyone enjoys the day on Sunday.
01:44 It's a great thing for the region, it's a great thing for the two clubs.
01:47 We're really looking forward to it, it's a lovely opportunity that we get to go and speak to the Foundation kids today.
01:52 So first off guys, what do you think about what you've just seen there in the event about football violence and lightning?
01:59 I think it's very bad that it's happened around this area and that football should just be a thing about having fun and not violence and all that.
02:05 Yeah, it's quite eye opening that it seems to be on the rise isn't it and with younger people as well.
02:10 But you two are getting on fine, there's no trouble here and you're yet to play a game.
02:15 But go on then, so what do you think about the match tomorrow?
02:18 It's great to derby again isn't it, it's been a few years.
02:20 It's on Sunday.
02:21 Yeah, yeah, so it's great it's happening again isn't it, do you know what I mean?
02:25 Because you guys, you won't remember derbies would you, from back in the day? No?
02:30 So go on then, so I take it you are an Albion fan and you are a Wolves fan?
02:34 Yeah.
02:35 Okay, go on, who's your first team, let's put it that way?
02:38 What do you mean?
02:40 Who do you follow as a team?
02:41 Oh, Man U.
02:42 Man U?
02:43 Yeah.
02:44 And what about you?
02:45 Man U.
02:46 Oh yeah, no way, so they've got a common bond.
02:47 Well you can speak openly then about tomorrow.
02:49 What do you think is going to be the result then of the game?
02:52 Baggies win 2-1.
02:55 Baggies 2-1 yeah?
02:56 Yeah.
02:57 What about you boss?
02:58 I think Wolves are going to win like 2-1.
02:59 Yeah? Yeah, cool, so Wolves are now being like your second clubs then, is that how it works?
03:05 Yeah.
03:06 And if Wolves were to play Man U at the minute, what would the score be for that?
03:10 About 3-1.
03:11 To Wolves, of course.
03:13 No, I'm kidding.
03:15 No, I'm kidding, what would you?
03:16 Same as his, same as his.
03:17 Yeah, yeah, cool.
03:19 Right, are you looking forward to having a game together?
03:21 Of course.
03:22 Yeah, go on, I'll let you crack on then, cheers guys, thank you.
03:24 But let's first of all, let's talk to them about the match on Sunday.
03:28 Terry, how are you feeling about it?
03:30 What was your reaction when you first realised the two teams were going to be playing?
03:34 I was excited, I was excited.
03:37 Right, let's have a look then.
03:39 So lads, you've got the Wolves shirt on, doesn't necessarily mean you're a Wolves fan,
03:44 but we feel you're qualified to comment.
03:46 Wolves, Albi and Derby, how important from a football fan's point of view is a Derby?
03:51 Let alone it being a Wolves Albi and just a Derby in general.
03:54 I mean, it kind of settles the score between two teams that have big rivalry,
03:58 so I guess it's a big event for both teams.
04:01 Yeah, adds to the drama, doesn't it?
04:03 So go on then, who are your teams that you support?
04:06 My new Arsenal.
04:08 Oh, my mum's an Arsenal fan.
04:10 But obviously Wolves, you're very passionate about Wolves, obviously, we can do that saying.
04:15 How do you think they're going to do in the Derby?
04:17 You know, Wolves Albi, what are you thinking?
04:19 Looking at the form and stuff, you know.
04:21 I think Wolves are going to do good.
04:23 I think it's going to be like a flaky win for us, probably.
04:25 You reckon, yeah? You're not feeling confident with it, yeah?
04:28 Just because that's the way life goes?
04:31 Possibilities.
04:32 Who do you reckon is going to be any star players from the Wolves?
04:34 Anyone you're liking at the minute?
04:36 Neto.
04:37 Yeah?
04:38 Neto, I reckon.
04:39 You second that, yeah?
04:40 Yeah.
04:41 Ricky, right, so I'll let you go and do your stuff against Albi and today.
04:44 Good luck, lads.
