00:00 I ask you, will the government of Kenya pay the rent of these youth?
00:04 Or we don't pay?
00:06 We don't pay the rent of these youth so they don't have a job?
00:09 Or what do you say?
00:11 Some people have gone to the court to stop the housing program.
00:15 Do you want this to continue?
00:17 This to continue?
00:19 We have told the people in the court, we have a regime of judges,
00:24 and we will go and appeal,
00:26 and we will create a law
00:28 that will allow the youth of Kenya to get a job.
00:33 Millions of youth are working in shops,
00:37 because they have finished school,
00:39 but there is no guarantee that they will get a job.
00:42 This is the first time in the Republic of Kenya that we have an administration
00:46 that has a clear, demonstrable, practical plan
00:50 on how to create job opportunities for the young people of Kenya,
00:55 because we have millions of young people
00:57 posing existential threat to our Republic
01:00 unless we do something about their employment.
01:03 Do you want to know what the government of Kenya has in store for us?
