During his imprisonment, Cédric ZOMA took the opportunity to acquire skills in saponification. On his release from prison, he set up his own soap-making business, which he named "Entreprise Kouni et Frères". In his business, Cédric ZOMA makes laundry soap such as "kabakourou" and toilet soap made from neem, moringa, green clay, honey and carrot.

The founder of the "Entreprise Kouni et Frères" finds soap-making beneficial, because it enables him to be financially independent.

His dream is to be self-sufficient and to open a large factory like SN-Citec, in order to employ other young saponification enthusiasts like himself. Find out more about Cédric ZOMA's business in this video.

00:00 After I got out of prison, society was always pushing me back.
00:04 Because I went from an active life to a life of deprivation and freedom.
00:10 Thanks to entrepreneurship, thanks to the manufacturing of soap,
00:13 it really allowed me to quickly and easily get into society
00:18 and have a really super cool social life.
00:26 From grade 7 to 6, I always took first place.
00:31 I couldn't compete in my third place because I was arrested
00:36 or incarcerated, especially at the Coup de Groupe's correctional facility.
00:40 I can say that the history of soap comes from the correctional facility.
00:45 Because during my incarceration, there was a production unit where we made soap.
00:53 I asked if I could really be placed there so that I could learn something.
01:00 And really, my patience was favorable.
01:04 After I got out, I preferred to start because I was already late.
01:12 If we took a little more comrades, they were already ahead of me.
01:15 The company we are is a company based at Coup de Groupe.
01:22 We produce between autumn and summer.
01:24 And we make soap from Kabakourou, soap from Lessif,
01:27 soap from toilets made from nimes,
01:30 soap from toilets made from moringa,
01:31 soap from toilets made from clay,
01:33 soap from toilets made from honey,
01:35 and soap from toilets made from carrots.
01:37 The activity of soap making is really beneficial for me.
01:40 I really get to immerse myself in it,
01:43 to do what I want,
01:45 to spend time without hearing anyone shaking my hand,
01:48 to remember my needs,
01:50 to really learn the good taste of life.
01:54 The main lesson that I always keep in mind
01:57 is the fact that we have to fight
02:01 to really have what we need.
02:04 We don't need to go through the facilities to really have them.
02:08 If you are intelligent,
02:16 you can go to school.
02:18 But if you are not intelligent,
02:20 you can't go to school.
02:22 Maybe you can't even go to the toilet.
02:26 You can't even go to the bathroom.
02:28 But if you are intelligent,
02:30 you can go to school.
02:32 You can go to school.
02:34 But if you are not intelligent,
02:36 you can't even go to the bathroom.
02:38 You can't even go to the toilet.
02:40 You can't even go to the bathroom.
02:42 You can't even go to the toilet.
02:44 You can't even go to the bathroom.
02:46 Today, he is proud of it.
02:49 We are proud to see a friend
02:53 who is proud of the field he likes,
02:56 and who is proud of his parents,
02:59 his relatives, his friends.
03:01 My vision is to have enough
03:04 and also to have such a big factory
03:09 like SNC Tech,
03:11 where I can employ hundreds,
03:13 thousands of people, especially young people,
03:16 who also have this passion,
03:18 who also have this desire to excel in soap making.
03:22 Thank you.
