MrBeast reveals incredible amount of X revenue he made from one old video clip

MrBeast, the world's biggest YouTuber, has revealed that a reuploaded video on 'X' has generated over $250,000 in revenue.MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, uploaded an old piece of content that has since generated more than 155 million views.Donaldson said in a statement that this instance seems like "a bit of a façade," claiming 'X' cannot reliably generate that kind of revenue.Karsten Weide, principal at W Media Research, said that the advertising revenue generated would only be possible with a massive profile.Weide says it does not reflect the experience the average content creator would have if they chose to upload to the platform.Donaldson's videos are generally uploaded to YouTube where they routinely generate over $1 million from advertising.Since acquiring 'X' in October 2022, Elon Musk has tried various strategies to boost engagement on the platform.This includes sharing advertising revenue with high-profile creators, something that YouTube has been doing for decades.
