00:00 Michael, moving on to Manchester City, let's just look at their transfer latest. It's been
00:06 quite a quiet one so far in this window. What can you see going on in the next week or so
00:13 in the time we have left?
00:15 Yeah, well I think the big news at the moment is Calvin Phillips and what we're hearing
00:20 at the moment is that he is going to join West Ham on loan until the end of the season.
00:25 We haven't had it confirmed yet whether there's any possibility of a permanent aspect to that
00:30 at the end, but I suspect probably not. But it's a really interesting move for him. I
00:35 mean, there was lots of interest in him from a number of Premier League clubs. Newcastle
00:39 and Crystal Palace were pushing really hard to try and get him in as well, but I think
00:43 West Ham, I mean you and I were just talking about it, it does represent a good move. I
00:48 think he'll come in and play a lot of football, even though there's a lot of competition for
00:52 places in midfield at West Ham. You've got James Ward-Prowse, you've got Edson Alvarez,
00:57 who I think is a really good player. Suchek has been there for years at West Ham. So it's
01:01 not going to be as straightforward that he's going to necessarily just be a starter every
01:05 week in midfield, as I actually think probably would have been the case for Palace and Newcastle.
01:09 But it's a good move for him and we're expecting that to go through. I mean, we're recording
01:13 this on Wednesday afternoon and I'm expecting that to go through. It's Tuesday afternoon
01:17 actually and we're expecting that to go through pretty soon. He's actually potentially going
01:22 to have his medical tonight or tomorrow, which is an interesting development in it that I've
01:27 only heard in the last half an hour or so. So yeah, really good move for him. And then
01:32 in terms of others from City, I mean there could be a couple of youngsters going out
01:35 on loan, but there's got to be nothing significant really in terms of the first team squad. We're
01:40 expecting Echeverry to be signed before the window closes, but he's going to be loaned
01:45 back to River Plate at least until the end of this season, perhaps even longer. Not to
01:51 be sure of that at this stage, but that's a really encouraging transfer for City that
01:55 they've had real success. I mean, Julian Alvarez is the best example of that, of signing a
01:59 young player and loaning him back to Argentina. But as I say, he's not going to be involved
02:03 in the first team squad. So I think come the end of January, the only difference from the
02:07 first team squad that Guardiola began the month with, to finish the month with, is going
02:11 to be that Calvin Phillips will have moved on.
