A multi-millionaire's wife was trapped in her brand new Ferrari for hours after it got stuck in electric gates - causing 50K damage.
Matt Fiddes, a self-defence specialist and former bodyguard for Michael Jackson, bought Moniqe the £320K yellow Ferrari spider F8 as a late Christmas gift.
But on Monday she got stuck for 'a few hours' in the posh motor - after Storm Isha caused their gates to trap her in the car on the drive.
Matt had to call a local electric company to free the car and his wife.
He posted: ''Stay safe everyone with storm #isha ! Our electric gates cut out and smashed my wife’s Xmas present her new #ferrari
''She got trapped for a few hours while we forced the gates open!
''Probably £50k plus damage but it just shows you how material things don’t matter and I’m just glad she’s safe ❤️
''Big thank you to #berryelectrical for coming out so quick and rescuing my beloved Wife!
''Stay safe! Watch out for falllen trees, power cuts etc. Matt.''
Matt surprised his wife with a brand new car for a late Christmas present - to add to her £600k collection of supercars.
Matt, who lives in Devon, said: "Moniqe deserves it - she's got to put up with me and my mad world.
"It’s true that behind every successful man there is a hard working woman, and behind the scenes my wife has to support me running our companies and our growing property portfolio!
"Taking phone calls and working through the night - as well as being a amazing mother to all my six children!
"The last Ferrari I bought for her to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary - so I have spent £600k in supercar's for my wife within eight months and a brand new V class £77k Mercedes as a family car."
Matt opened his martial arts business with just £100 - and it was recently valued at £120 million, with the largest privately owned portfolio in Devon.
