00:00 You guys, now that it's out and the world has seen it, you must be so proud.
00:04 Are you just on cloud nine at the way people are reacting to the film and all six, seven years of your life, hard work?
00:10 It's actually a little nerve-wracking to put something out.
00:14 One reason is because you know that it doesn't belong to you anymore and it's yours now.
00:20 And so there's a level of, I mean, let's see when our daughter goes to school, like college, but there's a little bit of that.
00:28 And then the excitement and the fear that hopefully it'll connect to people.
00:34 After I saw you guys at the premiere, I did love the viral moment of your daughter to bring it up and she sat down and started coloring on the carpet.
00:41 Was she not impressed with Hollywood dad life or was it just too long? Because you guys worked that carpet, you were there for hours.
00:46 We were waiting for, we were so lucky that Lady Gaga was coming, so she was very excited to see Stephanie.
00:52 She was like, "Let me just color, Dad."
00:54 I was like, "Yeah, me neither. We're going to wait."
00:58 Now that it's out, how is the love story, like the reaction to the love story been for you?
01:05 Because there's so much depth in your performance of like, you love, love, hate.
01:11 And I think we all feel a little bit of that with our husbands, but what's the reaction?
01:16 I think it's, you know, people have reacted to so many different parts of it.
01:20 The love story, I love seeing love on screen. I think we don't see enough of it.
01:24 And I love the beginning of this film where you see these two people who are sort of predestined to be together and they meet and you watch.
01:29 I just adore all of that part of the film.
01:31 And I also love how honestly you look at a marriage in its trickiest moments.
01:36 So I think lots of people have found connection to it and to the family and to the parenting.
01:40 I mean, there's so many kind of points of connection for people watching the film.
01:43 I love it. And you mentioned Gaga coming to see the film.
01:45 Did you guys share notes on like Bradley as a director?
01:48 Like, well, he does this. I love it when he does this. He's great to work with about this.
01:51 Do you know, she was so moved by the end of the film and I think so proud of Bradley and so blown away.
01:57 But she was, I spoke to her very briefly.
01:59 She gave me the most enormous hug and was just so effusive about how much she loved it and how moved she was by the work.
02:04 And I think, yeah, just an overwhelming sense of pride.
02:07 So then we need to go back to the lab. What's next? What are you cooking up, Bradley Cooper?
02:11 What are you cooking up? We need to be directing, starring in what's next?
02:15 Oh, we'll see.
02:17 You already know what it is, though.
02:19 He's not going to tell us, which is fine. But do you have your eyes set on something?
02:22 You know, yeah. No? Yeah.
02:26 He does. He does.
02:28 Well, our eyes on you. Congratulations, you guys. See you at the next one.
02:31 Thanks.
