00:00 So I'm at a demonstration outside Sheffield MP Louise Hague's office. A lot of people
00:09 with Palestinian flags come here. Julie, do you want to introduce yourself and tell me
00:13 why you've come to the demonstration?
00:15 So my name is Julie Pern and I'm the chair of Sheffield Labour Friends of Palestine.
00:23 And we are here today to tell Louise Hague on behalf of Labour Party members who are
00:30 Friends of Palestine that you do not represent us. Shame on you that you have failed to demand
00:38 an immediate ceasefire while the people of Gaza are suffering genocide. 25,000 civilians
00:49 and counting have been bombed to death. Most of the population of Gaza now have been displaced
00:59 and are subject to ethnic cleansing. These are war crimes of the greatest magnitude and
01:08 the fact you do not raise your voice clearly in opposition and demand an immediate ceasefire
01:16 is a matter of shame to our party. So Louise Hague, demand an immediate ceasefire now and
01:23 end to genocide. That is what the Labour Party membership, a thousand plus Labour bloc at
01:33 the last demonstration on Saturday are demanding. We want you to speak up in our name.
01:40 Brilliant, thank you.
