00:08 He was charged with one count of bribery and two counts of indirect bribery.

00:24 You were released on charges of plunder but not on bribery and indirect bribery. Were you surprised by the information of bribery?

00:34 To be honest, I was surprised because in the information sheet before I was charged, they will tell me the cases they have filed against me.

00:49 In the information sheet, it was only plundered. That's where I defended myself.

00:59 When it was found out that I was convicted of indirect bribery, of course I was surprised.

01:08 Do you think you can challenge the decision of the Sandigan Bayan Fifth Division Senator?

01:14 Well, I cannot say because the decision is 400 pages and I haven't read the entire decision.

01:26 But I will ask my lawyers to do all legal remedies and legal options available to me to file a motion for reconsideration in the Sandigan Bayan.

01:41 So what will you do next? Because in the two cases, there's a perpetual disqualification from office.

01:49 They will remove the right to vote for you for the rest of your life Senator.

01:53 Well, that's the first thing. But there's no penalty for that. That is not yet final and executory because there are many options available to me to file a motion for reconsideration.

02:06 If not, we will appeal to the Supreme Court.

02:11 But your position as a Senator, will that not be affected?

02:16 It will not be affected. I will still serve as your Senator.

02:23 Okay. Just Secretary Laila de Lima said that you can still be convicted in the plunder if the case is brought to the Supreme Court.

02:32 We are not familiar with those legal processes. What can you say, your reaction?

02:37 I don't want to hear what Senator Laila is saying because she said that her evidence is strong when she was Justice Secretary against us,

02:50 the three Senators. If her evidence is strong against us, why would the Sandigan Bayan be convicted?

02:59 Deep inside her, she's a politician.

03:06 Okay. In your case, what lesson did you learn from your case, Senator? Because all of these were signed by you.

03:22 Didn't the Sandigan Bayan say that the things that you have intentions are not considered, but your signature is.
