00:00 "I totally forgot."
00:03 Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most eccentric and
00:07 unhinged litigants ever to walk into Judge Millian's courtroom.
00:11 "Are you out of your mind?
00:14 You need to stay away from her."
00:16 Number 10.
00:17 Horse People
00:18 In this case, this defendant stole back from the plaintiffs a horse she believed was being
00:23 abused.
00:24 What starts as a case about horse theft keeps getting sidetracked by the weirdest non sequiturs
00:30 and allegations.
00:31 "And why are you telling me this?"
00:32 "Because that, she was, she was her house to take care of."
00:33 "Now how about you stick to the facts?
00:34 Do me a favor, stick to the facts and tell me."
00:38 Somehow, tangents about the defendant's implants and aspersions on the male plaintiff's anatomy
00:43 threaten to completely derail the proceedings.
00:46 These people can't stay on topic to save their lives.
00:49 "Lady, stop vomiting words.
00:53 Answer my question."
00:54 Meanwhile, the divorcing plaintiffs actually get into a dust-up outside the courtroom and
01:00 find out the hard way that Judge Millian doesn't take kindly to domestic abuse in her court.
01:05 By the end, she looks like she's ready to retire.
01:08 "That is my verdict.
01:09 Good luck, folks."
01:10 Number 9.
01:11 A Mother's Demands
01:12 An estranged daughter and mother end up in court over a loan.
01:16 "Do you acknowledge that you borrowed $2,000 from her?"
01:19 "Yes I did, but I paid her the 500, so I only owe her 1,500."
01:24 "Right, and that's what she's suing for is the 1,500, so everybody's in agreement on that."
01:28 While the mother, the defendant, is humiliated to be in court, what she should be humiliated
01:32 about is her coldness towards her daughter and granddaughter.
01:36 Animosity over the daughter not baptizing the granddaughter led to the mother freezing
01:41 her out.
01:42 "I said, I sent her a text message because she wouldn't pick up my calls.
01:44 I said, 'Please, this is silly.
01:46 Let's just please put it aside.'
01:48 You know, she sent me a text.
01:50 'Lani, do not come over here.
01:53 I will call the police and have you arrested for trespassing.'"
01:56 It's amazing to see the woman defend her ridiculous stance.
02:00 What's worse is how she seems completely unfazed by her daughter's pain.
02:04 It's a sad case, and no one really wins.
02:07 Even when Judge Millian appeals to her belief in God, the woman can't see past what she
02:12 wants.
02:13 "Enough already, because trust me, there is no God that I can envision that could be smiling
02:17 upon your behavior.
02:21 As for your claim against her, $1,500.
02:23 As for your claim against her, I find them all to be gifts."
02:26 Apparently, she's willing to lose her daughter over it.
02:29 Number 8.
02:30 Just Following Orders The plaintiff, a children's internet safety
02:34 activist, became the victim of an online harassment campaign accusing him of heinous crimes.
02:40 "Right, but your client doesn't put it on, you put it on.
02:44 And so, you know, it's one thing when you're YouTube and you can't control what people
02:47 put on.
02:48 You're protected under the law.
02:50 But you're actually the guy putting the stuff on."
02:52 Although the defendant, known only as Eve, admits the lies he's spread, he seems completely
02:57 unwilling to take any accountability.
02:59 Yes, he built the website.
03:01 Yes, he edited the photos with defamatory statements.
03:04 Yes, he uploaded those photos to the website.
03:07 "Yeah, but you know it's a smear job.
03:09 You know it's not a legitimate way.
03:10 You know that the guy is paying you, and you want the money.
03:14 And the guy's paying you to create a bunch of sites that are specifically geared to smear
03:17 one person."
03:18 But it's really the fault of the people who paid him to do this.
03:22 His flat way of speaking and lack of remorse is chilling and frustrating.
03:26 Even after the judge explains and rules against him, he's still unwilling to accept the truth.
03:31 "I feel like I have some responsibility, but not up to the point that I need to pay for
03:39 him."
03:40 "Well, you do."
03:41 "What about my client's responsibility?"
03:43 "I don't know."
03:44 7.
03:45 Pee dresses
03:46 Some people really love their dogs as if they were their own children.
03:50 But Judge Milian has her limits.
03:53 Let's just say the plaintiff in this case is a bit of an eccentric.
03:56 "I had to buy the Phormone teddy bear to calm her when she's in."
04:01 "It's what kind of teddy bear?"
04:02 "It has Phormones in it.
04:03 It has like lavender scents in it.
04:06 And it stays with her to keep her calm."
04:08 "I want that."
04:09 Suing over a pit bull attack, she lists all the things now wrong with her dog, including
04:14 PTSD, and the lengths she has gone to to remedy this, all of which she wants the defendant
04:19 to pay for.
04:20 "I think it might be a really good idea for you to take your dog to additional training
04:24 lessons at PetSmart.
04:25 I just don't know if I can legally require her to pay it."
04:29 The dog looks more like an accessory than a pet, and she even dresses it for court.
04:34 This, the judge jokes, might account for her stress.
04:37 The plaintiff doesn't seem to appreciate this.
04:39 "Is that a skirt you got on her?
04:41 Are you sure that's not what's stressing her out?"
04:43 "No, my baby dresses."
04:45 6.
04:46 Unrepentant Defendant
04:48 The defendants in this case harbored a missing teenager for days as her parents and the police
04:53 searched for her.
04:54 "So when the police were looking for this child, you didn't tell them she was here?"
04:59 "I thought I was keeping her safe."
05:01 "Why?"
05:02 The wife insisted she hid their son's girlfriend because they believed she was being abused
05:07 and was somehow safer there.
05:09 Though his wife was the one mostly responsible for the whole mess, the husband's behavior
05:13 is truly repugnant.
05:14 "Is there something funny to you?"
05:16 "No, your honor, I just wanted to show you the picture."
05:17 "Ok, because you keep breaking into smile and I'm trying to understand why you keep
05:21 breaking into smile and something that's utterly heartbreaking and you're doing it now too."
05:25 Despite his assertion that he is a certified youth therapist, he doesn't seem all that
05:30 receptive to the idea that his son and the plaintiff's daughter are not good for each
05:35 other.
05:36 His insults, snorting laughter, and smug demeanor aren't entertaining, they're just infuriating.
05:42 "You're out of your mind, both of you.
05:45 You think you have the facts to make decisions that are so weighty and that will have such
05:51 effect on people's lives, including your own son, and you don't have the facts."
05:57 Number 5.
05:58 Making a pass Lots of tenant-landlord cases get petty and
06:02 tense, but this one just got weird.
06:05 "She made it completely unlivable by making a pass at you."
06:09 "By making a pass at me with the mail, by not even allowing me to talk to anybody."
06:14 "What does talk to anybody mean?"
06:15 "She didn't want me talking to the neighbors."
06:17 The plaintiff alleged he wasn't allowed to use the common spaces in the apartment, and
06:22 things went south when he refused to sleep with his landlord, who was also his roommate.
06:28 However, video evidence shows that it seems like he might have been just as keen to pursue
06:33 a special relationship.
06:34 "You look kind of into it, to be honest with you."
06:37 He's seen in the video with his shirt off, asking if he should go further, and it's played
06:42 for all the court to see.
06:44 None of it was above board, and neither one could really give a straightforward answer
06:48 about the situation because, frankly, it was kind of embarrassing.
06:52 "I think we're done."
06:53 Number 4.
06:54 No laughing matter Given that plaintiff Antonio Alessandro spends
06:58 most of his case against his ex-girlfriend smirking, you'd think this case was a laugh
07:03 riot.
07:04 "So you're each supposed to pay half, and then what happens?"
07:06 "Yeah, we got into an argument."
07:08 "When?"
07:09 "St. Paddy's Day, actually, the morning of St. Paddy's Day."
07:13 "This year?"
07:14 "Yes."
07:15 He claims she owes him money she promised him, but the story he tells leaves out a lot
07:18 of the details that her testimony, and his own evidence, fills in.
07:23 Not even when his ex describes suffering under his abuse does his smile fade.
07:27 "I'm out of the situation, I'm done.
07:32 So, and then I was like to him, you know what, I was like, 'Why don't you just sell it then?'
07:37 But after, 'cause I went through emotional trauma with all of this."
07:42 If anything, when the judge confronts him, his smile only gets bigger.
07:46 Whether he knows just how sinister it makes him look is unclear.
07:50 What is clear is that the judge has no patience for abusers using her courtroom to reconnect
07:55 with victims.
07:56 "I'm telling you right now, at some point, you're not good for each other, you're toxic
08:00 for each other."
08:01 3.
08:02 "Now I Remember You"
08:04 What does it say when your dog has attacked so many people that you don't even know which
08:08 case is being heard when you enter the court?
08:10 "Now I remember you.
08:12 It was a long time ago, okay."
08:17 Defendant Dorothy Hens is a little confused when she enters and sees a woman on the other
08:22 side.
08:23 That totally ruins her defense, that the man her dog attacked was trying to grab her behind.
08:27 "She was somebody else who apparently also got bit by your dog."
08:32 "Right."
08:33 "Did you just hear yourself?"
08:39 Worse, Hens seems completely oblivious to the judge's concern that she clearly can't
08:45 control her dog.
08:46 Her husband seems just as dazed by the whole thing.
08:49 Even the show's court reporter can't help but ask what their deal is.
08:52 "What's with you two?"
08:53 "I don't know."
08:54 "I just don't want the dog to know what he does."
08:59 2.
09:00 "Roommate Squabble"
09:01 And you thought you'd had a bad roommate situation.
09:03 Chances are, it doesn't even compare to some of the choice bits from this case.
09:08 "What did you expect from her in terms of helping you?"
09:10 "To take me to my doctor's, to help me go grocery shopping, laundry, things that a PCA
09:15 would do which is a personal care."
09:16 The plaintiff needed a place to live, and the defendant took her on as a roommate and
09:20 caretaker.
09:21 However, a series of bizarre and sad circumstances, including some details best heard about on
09:26 an empty stomach, led to what might be one of the more memorable cases in the show's
09:31 history.
09:32 "I said, 'Jennifer, what's going on?'
09:33 'I have to use the bathroom, but I'm in the middle of a game.'
09:37 I said, 'Take the game with you to the bathroom.'
09:40 When I'm finished with this level, after she finishes, she gets up and the back end of
09:44 her, she's going to the bathroom all over my rug."
09:47 While the plaintiff clearly wasn't the best roommate, the defendant's attitude with the
09:51 judge just showed how clueless she was.
09:54 Seriously, this one has to be seen to be believed.
09:57 "She should not be getting anything.
09:58 I did find the proof that I did pay the cable bill, the termination fee, and I am willing
10:04 to show the judge as soon as possible."

10:23 Number 1.
10:24 Inappropriate Relationship
10:26 Plaintiff Anthony Jenno Martinson clearly didn't have the awareness to realize just
10:31 how wrong his behavior was.
10:33 He's suing the parents of a 16-year-old girl for a false restraining order.
10:37 "So you're suing for the expenses and they're counterclaiming against you expenses that
10:41 they incurred looking for their daughter."
10:43 However, Martinson took it upon himself to rescue the girl from an alleged abusive situation,
10:49 transporting her hundreds of miles away from her home, without notifying her parents.
10:53 "Like what business is this of yours?
10:55 You're a grown man.
10:56 Why is that happening?
10:57 The only explanation I could think of is that you're dating her.
11:00 That I understand.
11:01 But I don't understand if you're not dating her, where you come off thinking at the age
11:05 of 21 that you're a better parent than her actual parents."
11:08 He denies that their relationship is romantic, but the optics are incredibly disturbing.
11:13 His much older witness doesn't help his case much.
11:16 Martinson clearly fancies himself as some kind of heroic figure.
11:20 There's no remorse on his part.
11:21 His unhinged threats towards the defendant were the last straw for the judge.
11:26 "How old are you?
11:27 How old are you?"
11:28 "21, ma'am."
11:29 "Where did you get this hubris?
11:30 Where did you get this hubris?"
11:35 Which of these litigants left you scratching your head the hardest?
11:38 Render your judgment in the comments.
11:41 "I think I'm talking to a fricking wall.
11:44 That's what's happening here.
11:45 I keep talking and nothing's going in your thick head.
11:48 Because you're so busy trying to be right that you don't understand the position.
11:51 Get out of my courtroom.
11:52 I've had enough with your laughing."
