00:00 The ball, you can go get it.
00:02 285, maybe 300.
00:04 It's hard to move.
00:04 So I mean, it's hard to prepare.
00:06 But it's a big fella to keep out the paint.
00:10 So--
00:10 A couple of times you had to cut it to--
00:13 And you had a couple of sessions where
00:14 you could get it under that.
00:17 Did you like the looks you guys got there?
00:20 Yeah.
00:22 Ben had a couple of great shots that usually go in.
00:24 Peyton had a couple of great shots that usually go in.
00:26 Me as well.
00:28 It just came down to us getting defensive rebounds.
00:32 They're a great offensively rebounding team.
00:34 That's what they did is kept shooting and grabbing the ball
00:37 and throwing it out and keeping it away from us.
00:40 What did you think of the crowd?
00:41 The crowd said you were down 19 in the second half.
00:44 It seemed like they were on their feet a lot.
00:47 That's what we needed.
00:48 Hopefully we can get that every game.
00:49 But I appreciate them coming out tonight.
00:52 Hopefully we can get that every game
00:53 because we need that every game to keep that energy going.
00:56 But other than that, it felt good for us.
01:00 Played hard.
01:01 We did the best we could.
01:02 But playing them again, I bet we can play even harder
01:05 and hopefully get a victory.
01:06 Tony, I know you had a death in the family a month ago
01:10 or however long it all was.
01:13 Owen, same situation yesterday.
01:15 Did you say anything to him pregame
01:17 or offer anything at all?
01:19 Yeah.
01:20 I gave him a little space at first.
01:22 But yesterday after practice and before the game,
01:25 I told him I was there.
01:27 Same position he was in, man.
01:29 I love you and we got your back.
01:31 Whatever you need, let me know.
01:33 You had my back when I was going through the same situation.
01:36 So I can do the same thing for you.
01:38 And when you go on that court, just leave it all out there
01:41 for your loved one.
01:43 You guys feel like you made a lot of progress
01:45 from the last Purdue meeting to this one?
01:47 Oh, yeah.
01:48 Yeah, because when we played there, we didn't do too good.
01:52 But ever since then, lost a few.
01:55 We jumped back and went three in a row in the conference.
01:57 So this loss will also give us a boost
02:01 to want to keep doing that and keep building off of that.
02:03 So like I said, hopefully we see them again.
02:05 We won't have to worry about it a third time,
02:07 losing to them a third time.
02:09 You had a scoring burst open up in the second half.
02:11 What went into that?
02:11 I just don't like losing, especially to Purdue.
02:18 They're Indiana.
02:19 So any Indiana school.
02:23 So I tried to do the best I could,
02:26 offensively, defensively.
02:27 Rebound, I just tried to do the best I could all around.
02:30 And the group in Indiana, just offensively
02:33 being able to facilitate, being able to score,
02:35 why do you think you've been able to be so effective?
02:39 Just playing at pace, talking to my teammates,
02:41 get them in spots where I can throw them a ball,
02:43 get them a bucket.
02:45 Just slow everything down offensively,
02:47 with the ball and without the ball,
02:49 getting my teammates involved.
02:51 That's pretty much it.
02:52 Just looking for them, but also just being smarter with the
02:56 ball.
02:56 Tony, what more could you have done?
03:00 I'd say try to help the bigs out with Zach Heady.
03:06 I tried to do the best I could, but like I said,
03:08 7' 5", 300 pounds, it's hard to move him.
03:11 I'm only 210, so I mean, I tried.
03:14 But I mean, just helping rebound,
03:17 I think we all could have did a little bit more on that end.
03:20 But I mean, that's the only reason we lost,
03:22 was getting a missed shot.
03:23 So they had, I think, 19 offensive rebounds.
03:26 So I mean, that tells you how we lost the game right there.
03:31 All right, thanks Tony.
03:32 Thanks Tony.
03:33 Thanks Tony.
03:33 You're welcome.
