A plumber was left in a panic after finding over 20 bones underneath floorboards - when fixing a bathroom.
Jonathan Betts, 36, made the sinister discovery underneath a cottage that is over 200 years old.
He made a TikTok highlighting his terrifying find, which has already gained over 1.3 million views.
Luckily the bones turned out to be from - a pig.
He joked: "Let’s just say it's not every day you’re at work and find a pile of bones under a bathroom floor.
"I have been in the industry for over 20 years and I’ve never seen anything like it before."
On January 2, Jonathan, who runs JB Plumbing in Plymouth, Devon, began a routine job of fixing a bathroom.
He said: "After I removed the toilet and floor covering I found that sub flooring below was massively rotten and discovered the joists had just been fitted onto soil.
"I made the customers aware, who have been on holiday, that I will need to dig out the soil to try and find some solid ground to concrete in a ore formed lintel."
He explained the work was being completed in an "old old cottage" at least 200 years old - so he had to "dig deep".
Jonathan said: "I let the customer know I don't usually work weekends but I will to push the job on, and that's when I started to find bones.
"As you can imagine I started to stress out, especially when I found a jaw bone with teeth!"
"In the back of my mind I knew it was an animal as the teeth didn't look like ours but I was still sketching out as I really did not want this job to be shut down!".
After discovering another 20 bones alongside bottles and marble, he then discovered a second part of the jawbone.
Having spotted the long front tooth, as well as conducting a Google search with consultation from a some fellow tradies, Jonathan admits "to his pure joy" - the bones were from the remains of a pig, not a human.
Jonathan said he followed the customer's wishes, explaining the bones were placed back where he found them.
He added: "The bones have placed back under the floor when we found out that back in the day people buried them to ward off bad spirits."
"After speaking with the owners of the home, they informed me that the house opposite used to be a pig farm and they think the barn attached to their property was in fact a slaughterhouse."
