00:00 I wanted your thoughts first on what is happening in the Red Sea and the potential impact to
00:07 our trade flows.
00:09 We've already seen attacks taking place.
00:11 Are you worried in terms of the impact it might have on our economy?
00:15 Vishnu, I would have been surprised if you had not opened with the Red Sea question.
00:19 Oh, good.
00:20 Because that's not only the right question.
00:23 I think it's a subject which is inviting increasing attention, a fair amount of concern.
00:35 But if I were to take that to worried, I'm not there yet.
00:38 And I say that for good reason.
00:42 First and foremost, I think all the state players involved in this, as against the non-state
00:48 actors which are responsible for this, all the state players, I'm not convinced any of
00:53 them genuinely wants to see a conflagration of the situation and breakout of hostilities
00:59 on a larger scale, number one.
01:01 There will be people who will be pointing fingers.
01:04 It's not for me to make an assessment whether the non-state actors acted on their own or
01:10 with some feeling that they would be backed up by others.
01:16 On the other hand, look at the converse.
01:18 If you have to unleash bedlam, then why use one?
01:22 There are other non-state actors with far higher degree of lethality who could have
01:26 come in.
01:27 My view is that any attempt to disrupt or cause uncertainty, even of a perception variety
01:37 only in any of the sea routes which are used by global trade is a matter of concern.
01:45 But at the same time, I think there is enough maturity and wisdom around to be able to navigate
01:51 literally, navigate around this.
