00:03 >> I just saw a video of Bill's Mafia up bright and
00:06 early on this Monday morning before the sun even rise to scoop and
00:12 shovel out the stadium and there is still snow coming down.
00:16 There is still so much snow inside Highmark Stadium for
00:21 a game that was scheduled for Sunday now postponed until this Monday.
00:26 Slated to kick at 4.30 PM Eastern Time.
00:30 So Donnie, has it at all changed your estimation of what this game will look
00:35 like based on the delay, based on the weather we expect?
00:39 >> Yes, it really has because we were going into this game saying, okay,
00:44 they're going to play, the snow's gonna come down, 25 mile an hour sustained winds,
00:47 50 mile an hour gusts.
00:48 And that usually brings in the underdog into the equation.
00:51 If you're not as talented but you do have a couple good running backs,
00:53 who knows what can happen.
00:54 But let's also go into these dumbbells that talk about this game.
00:57 Like, man, it would have been so great to watch, as Ben astutely pointed out.
01:00 And shout out to people like, see Buffalo, this is why you build a dome.
01:04 Newsflash, the game would have been canceled anyways, but
01:06 you couldn't drive to the stadium.
01:08 You don't care if you had a dome on the stadium or not.
01:10 I mean, some people just don't think things through at this point.
01:13 Yes, we wanna see snow football, but
01:14 not at the expense of people getting caught on the highway and
01:17 you have to use extra resources.
01:19 Now, shout out the governor and the mayor here,
01:20 cuz this is where it gets even more fun.
01:22 This is how we know, the Buffalo Bills are an institution in Western New York.
01:26 And same thing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and
01:28 quite frankly, every NFL team.
01:30 The Steelers were waiting on the tarmac yesterday.
01:32 It was basically what they were waiting for, it was like,
01:35 you know we have to bend the rules cuz it's illegal to travel in this county.
01:38 But go ahead and we'll get you a police escort and
01:41 you can come into town and play this football game today.
01:43 So I did get a kick out of that.
01:44 That'd be like, Ben, you calling up, hey, look, I gotta get to work.
01:46 You try that, Ben, we're gonna arrest you the minute you drive down these streets.
01:49 Like, hold on now, we gotta make sure these guys get into town.
01:52 But yes, getting back to the initial point of,
01:54 the weather conditions are still going to be quite chilly today.
01:57 20 degrees a kickoff, no precipitation in the forecast, but also winds, Ben,
02:02 under 10 miles an hour sustained, which means you can throw the football.
02:06 Which again, I think does help the scoring, but also, as I said,
02:09 the game today really helped the Buffalo Bills.
02:12 Because I think they're the more skilled team,
02:14 they'll be able to operate their offense more fluidly now.
02:17 And I think it gives them a nice advantage in this one.
02:19 The total's risen up, obviously, and rightfully so, to what we expected on
02:22 Sunday if that game were to be played.
02:23 But also the Buffalo Bill is still getting there at that ten point favorite.
02:27 Now you can look and say, okay, clean slate here.
02:29 Buffalo is the better team, they should win.
02:31 Not saying it's gonna be a blowout, but
02:32 I think this helps the Bills more than it does the Steelers.
02:34 >> So those are the changing numbers that we now react to here on the early line.
02:40 As we left on Friday, the number ticked below double digits,
02:45 nine and a half in favor of Buffalo for the reasons that we laid out.
02:50 For one of the reasons Donnie picked Pittsburgh as his money line underdog in
02:54 the pick six, because there wasn't going to be a ton of offense expected.
02:59 And if there's not all that many points, the margin is not all that wide enough,
03:03 the Steelers can keep this game competitive.
03:06 Now we are at a full ten point spread in favor of the Bills.
03:10 When we left on Friday, the total was 34 and a half.
03:14 It has risen by four points all the way up to 38 and a hook.
03:20 So Donnie, do you expect to see points?
03:23 Do you expect to see it over between Buffalo and Pittsburgh today?
03:26 >> Here's the crazy part about it, Ben,
03:28 which sometimes what we just watched a few days ago sort of clouds your mind.
03:32 Because we're saying to ourself, it was minus 37, minus 27 in Kansas City.
03:36 This is balmy.
03:37 It's not really balmy.
03:39 At 20 degrees kickoff with a real feel that's probably gonna be down around
03:42 five degrees or six degrees.
03:44 It's going to be cold.
03:45 But as we know in football, Ben,
03:46 it's not so much the rain we worry about and or the snow.
03:49 It's the windy conditions which will be subsided tonight, which is great.
03:52 And the one thing that you bring up too, Ben,
03:54 is we always love it as a society where the media is gonna push that narrative.
03:57 Look how much, did you see the field?
03:59 It's not gonna be any snow in the field today.
04:00 So don't be thinking like, field's gonna be frozen over, they can't play.
04:04 That surface will be fine today.
04:05 I'm interested in seeing how much offense we do get because quite frankly,
04:09 the Bills can be explosive when we want to.
04:11 If this was the Steelers offense, Ben, we had Kenny Pickett,
04:13 Ed or Mitchell Trubisky.
04:15 No, I would say it's a dead cold under.
04:17 Now that number is now getting interesting where you're not stealing it at 32 and
04:20 a half, 33 and a half, right?
04:22 So I do still think there's a chance they get over the total because again,
04:25 Mason Rudolph and that Pittsburgh offense, when conditions are apparent,
04:28 you can throw it.
04:29 They'll be able to move the football against the Buffalo Bills.
04:32 But keep in mind, this is a playoff game.
04:34 Things always are a little bit different here.
04:36 And again, still in the elements.
04:37 Even though that 19 degrees and again, 10 mile an hour winds,
04:40 that's still freezing cold temperatures there.
04:43 And we'll see how they handle it.
