00:00 Wasted and not used, that's how almost a million pesos of expired medicine and other items were found in a rural health office in Albay.

00:30 That's how much was found by the mayor of Bacakay, Albay in their rural health unit.
00:36 According to the mayor, almost a million pesos of expired medicine and other items were found.
00:42 The RHU officer, Dr. Merly Beltran, explained to the mayor that most of the expired medicine can be considered as non-essential drugs.
00:51 In my opinion, it's invalid to make people, the residents, who have a lot of money, use other drugs.

01:11 The issue is to be aware of those who are using expired medicine as well as those who are using it in a proper disposal.

01:52 The RHU also opened its door to a committee hearing of the local government to give its opinion.
01:58 The LGU decided to answer anyone who can prove that there is a waste in the alleged incident.
