00:32 There are mechanisms that have been put in place
00:36 by the Kenya National Examination Council.
00:39 Within 30 days after the release of the national exams,
00:43 any person who may not be satisfied
00:46 with the outcome of the results, there
00:49 is a window of opportunity for them
00:53 to petition the Kenya National Exam Council.
00:57 It is free of charge, and the council
01:00 should be able to give them feedback in the shortest time
01:03 possible.
01:04 So we encourage them to put their petition in writing,
01:07 and the council should be able to address that.
01:10 My name is Onyango Jonah Mwondi.
01:13 My superconscious mind and resilience
01:15 is seriously telling me that this result is not our result.
01:19 This is not the result that we have been getting ever
01:21 since we started schooling.
01:23 Even in this form four level, I haven't
01:27 get a D plane in the theory, chemistry, biology,
01:32 mathematics.
01:33 Everything is D. Everything is D.
01:36 To me, if somebody has just chipped in and intermingled
01:38 with our result, then later on, the result
01:40 that we are getting right now is totally not our result.
01:44 We are requesting the above.
01:46 We are requesting you guys kindly please chip in
01:48 and help us to get our result.
01:50 Even teachers are shocked.
01:51 We went to school, but they have nothing to say.
01:54 They had nothing totally to say.
01:56 We have been passing.
01:57 We have been passing.
01:58 That is the fact.
01:59 We have been passing.
01:59 We went to the Ministry of Education up here.
02:01 All of a sudden, the madame is not speaking.
02:04 Madame is also quiet.
02:06 She's looking onto us.
02:07 Then we ask, what is the next step now?
02:10 What can we do next to help us get our real result?
02:14 Madame has said, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
02:21 What are we going to look at?
02:22 And they are also the Minister of Education,
02:24 sincerely speaking.
02:25 Now, what we are demanding, we want our result.
02:28 In each and every result, we must have what
02:30 we call the exam curve, whereby we must have the top rank
02:34 and the lower rank.
02:36 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
02:37 Everyone is D. Only two chipping in with C minus.
02:40 It cannot work, my friend.
02:41 And we are really requesting kindly help, help, and help.
02:46 Which came shocked us, because if you are comparing
02:49 the results that we have been doing,
02:51 the exams that we have been doing,
02:53 they are not giving us a clear picture of what
02:56 that we have been getting.
02:57 So like me, I've been getting above B, but now I have a D
03:02 plus.
03:03 So we are just asking, we need the results.
03:07 If you can hear us from right now, please, may you help us.
