00:33 Greetings Grapple fans and welcome to UKPW on KMTV.
00:36 I'm your host, the Big OC, Dave O'Connor, and I once again joined,
00:40 following his probationary period completion, Rob Ringside!
00:43 Hi Dave, great to see you. I'm as surprised as you that I passed.
00:45 Well, this is very much looking forward to the future and not to the past.
00:48 So, Grapple fans, our matches today come from our Blizzard Brawl event,
00:52 which emanated from the Falconwood Community Centre.
00:54 Yes indeed. Alf Edwards, the suplex merchant,
00:57 is going to have to bring out everything in his arsenal to defeat just Jolando.
01:01 In our main event, we have the first title defence of the newly crowned UKPW
01:05 Inter-Regional Champion, the Grappling Goddess, Sapphire Reed,
01:08 taking on the former champion, the Kid Without Fear, Danny Black.
01:12 What a main event, Grapple fans, but just for now, let's start off with our first match,
01:16 Amira taking on Brain Levicus.
01:18 Let's take it over to Clark Andrews in the Events Centre in Studio 2.
01:21 It's the one and only Clark Andrews, and I am right here in the UKPW Events Centre,
01:30 and we have got a really special international clash in the Women's Division here for you,
01:34 where we have all the way from Ireland, the feisty flame Amira,
01:37 taking on the maiden of metal, Brain Levicus, all the way from Germany.
01:42 And this one is just... I can't even talk about this one just by myself,
01:45 so I'm going to need a special guest.
01:47 So, as legend says, let's take out our £1 coin.
01:51 Let's place it on the table and give it a rub three times.
01:55 One, two, three.
01:59 And it's Love Jones!
02:01 Wait, wait, completely on the green side.
02:03 Anyway, Grapple fans, more importantly, we've got Brain Levicus against Amira in a titanic match,
02:07 because all things have changed in UKPW, where Kira Chimera has affirmed herself
02:12 as the UKPW Women's Champion.
02:14 The winner of this bout could very well propel themselves into championship contention.
02:18 Clark Andrews, have I done a good enough job for you?
02:20 Can I have my pound back, please?
02:21 No, one wish, mine.
02:22 Brain Levicus, it's a popular figure, even with two matches in UKPW under her belt.
02:28 After this one, she's already really, really known for her class.
02:31 Reign might be fairly new to us here at UKPW,
02:38 but she is a hustle champion and also is one of the two Eve Tag Team Champions.
02:44 Very true indeed, she is no stranger to competition outside of UKPW.
02:48 We're just lucky to have her now.
02:49 Very lucky.
02:50 Side headlocking Amira, taking Reign down to the canvas,
02:53 looking for the early advantage.
02:55 She's going to wrench away there, the head locked in solid,
03:00 as Reign gets back to her feet, trying to break out of that.
03:02 Look at her using her strength and power to loosen the grip, she does.
03:08 Now looking at her wrist.
03:11 Trying those elbows there, guys.
03:14 And the mount, that side headlock from Brain Levicus.
03:17 A little bit of a problem for her.
03:22 And Amira, she's got her way out of that one quite nice and easily.
03:26 Oh, here we go, the eclecticism here from Brain Levicus.
03:29 Nice reversal there, look at that.
03:31 This is my first time actually getting to see Reign,
03:36 and I think Amira might have beaten off us more than she could choose,
03:39 I think she was going to knock the tournament out of her.
03:41 I think she might be on to something there.
03:43 Reign's tremendous, compared to how we've seen it here at UKPW before.
03:50 Absolutely, she didn't win over the crowd in Canterbury by being
03:52 anything other than a strong competitor.
03:55 Amira taunting both Reign and the crowd now,
04:02 the crowd letting her know what they think of it.
04:04 The booze here in Falconwood, showing their dislike for Amira.
04:09 Went for a hip toss and it didn't pay off.
04:14 A knee to the midsection and now Amira...
04:16 Oh, couldn't get her back off her feet.
04:19 Oh, look at that tackle there.
04:23 Amira maybe spent too long talking to the crowd,
04:25 not the time looking at the crowd.
04:27 Reign is not the sort of opponent that you take your eyes off, not even for a second.
04:31 Oh, and Leverkusen scouted that very, very well.
04:36 Oh, no, he rolls him over, he's got a way to get...
04:38 Oh, and a knee and fall already.
04:40 Not surprising, Reign's incredibly quick.
04:42 That's where he's starting to conk Amira out.
04:45 He needs too much time to get himself out in the early going for this contest.
04:51 Oh, and Amira said, "What are you... Reign's a... bring it."
04:56 Oh, maybe going for a back body drop and Reign saw it from a mile off.
05:01 These two have faced each other elsewhere,
05:06 so they do know each other's moveset pretty well.
05:09 Amilia, oh, Reign, Chiu is flexing his flow ability.
05:12 Legs off on the big rope.
05:15 Oh, and that will make... that's making it rain.
05:19 A throw straight to Amira's face.
05:23 And that will definitely rock Amira.
05:25 You think she still knows it's Saturday?
05:29 Well, who knows when she caught her cream, in fact.
05:32 And listen to the people here in Falconwood showing their support
05:37 and appreciation for Ray Leverkusen.
05:38 Absolutely, Amira taking a perhaps well-earned constitutional outside break.
05:42 Well, you can't help but listen to people for a moment in the match that we were awaiting.
05:46 Which one would take the earlier vote?
05:47 Oh, but maybe Reign took too long allowing Amira there.
05:51 She landed hard on that canvas as well.
05:52 Oh, and spine driven straight into the steel ring post.
05:56 And here we go, this is the side of Amira that is to be feared.
05:59 And this is the switch flipping.
06:00 This is what you mentioned earlier, the unpredictable nature.
06:02 But Reign's got a point.
06:03 And this is when Amira is at her most unpredictable and most dangerous.
06:07 Oh, look at that pedigree!
06:09 Face that's plodding into the canvas, that might do it.
06:12 Amira bled to win.
06:14 Oh, and a near fall.
06:15 Close to that.
06:16 See how quickly the tide changed there, guys.
06:19 [APPLAUSE]
06:22 Crowd here guessing behind Reign Levitussian based on the match so far.
06:25 I'd be very surprised if they suddenly changed their minds.
06:28 [APPLAUSE]
06:29 And referee Tristan Stone making the count there.
06:31 [APPLAUSE]
06:32 That was quite an unorthodox choke on right to Amira as well.
06:35 [APPLAUSE]
06:36 Face first, and then top turnbuckle.
06:37 [APPLAUSE]
06:38 Amira goes forward, into the chest.
06:40 [APPLAUSE]
06:41 Turnbuckle's padded, but hitting the face is still good.
06:44 Oh, it still hurts.
06:44 Still no problem.
06:45 [APPLAUSE]
06:46 Wait, oh, here comes that.
06:47 [APPLAUSE]
06:48 She's-- is she going to-- oh, look at that.
06:49 Skin of a timber.
06:50 Interesting.
06:51 Yeah.
06:51 [APPLAUSE]
06:54 This is a problem anyone has who gets in the room with Amira.
06:57 You can't actually predict anything too well, because I don't think she knows what she's
07:00 going to do herself after the time.
07:01 It might make it tricky for both of them, it's on different ways.
07:04 [APPLAUSE]
07:07 Crowd there letting them know what to do for Amira.
07:09 [APPLAUSE]
07:10 That's just going to fire Amira up even more.
07:11 All she wants is people to love her.
07:13 And hearing people hate her and get her really annoyed is going to put Reign in danger.
07:17 [APPLAUSE]
07:25 She's definitely behind Reign.
07:27 Absolutely.
07:27 [APPLAUSE]
07:29 Reign scouts that one as well, does very, very well.
07:32 Oh, spring roll back and-- oh, no.
07:34 Taking Amira down.
07:35 [APPLAUSE]
07:36 And oh, another nipple.
07:37 [APPLAUSE]
07:40 Very attractive for Reign.
07:41 [APPLAUSE]
07:46 Oh, wait a minute.
07:47 Amira, whoops, the leg.
07:49 Oh, nice fisherman's.
07:50 Didn't go for a bridge for the pin there.
07:52 Interesting choice not to go for the bridge again.
07:54 Absolutely.
07:56 But she went for a cover anyway.
07:58 Could that delay the decision?
07:59 It is quite possible, Rob.
08:00 [APPLAUSE]
08:06 They come to regret that decision to just hang back for those few seconds.
08:09 Could be the difference between--
08:11 Oh!
08:11 Oh.
08:12 [APPLAUSE]
08:14 Leg drop to the midsection, dropping those legs right across the body of Reign Leverkusen.
08:20 [INAUDIBLE]
08:22 Talk about making Reign-- Amira breaking down.
08:24 Leverkusen there.
08:25 Oh!
08:26 Oh, nice uppercut.
08:27 [INAUDIBLE]
08:30 She's taunting, and there we go.
08:32 Choking out a referee, Tristan Stone, making the count again.
08:35 She's got till five, of course, and she'll make the most liberal use of that.
08:38 Absolutely.
08:40 And there's nothing wrong with that.
08:41 There's nothing wrong with bending the [INAUDIBLE]
08:43 and getting caught.
08:47 Oh, look at that from Reign.
08:48 Again, Amira taking too long.
08:50 She's caught him with her leg up there.
08:52 Nice low-arm shot.
08:53 Oh, look at that kick!
08:54 Well scouted by Reign.
08:55 Back out on her own.
09:01 [INAUDIBLE]
09:03 That's a close line, sending Amira down again.
09:06 Going up ahead of Steven.
09:08 Oh!
09:08 Oh!
09:09 Wow!
09:09 [INAUDIBLE]
09:11 Outstanding.
09:13 Reign's most definitely picked up some momentum back again.
09:15 [INAUDIBLE]
09:16 Can't find up now.
09:17 Oh!
09:22 Oh, swing and a break off!
09:23 Beautifully done!
09:24 One execution on that!
09:26 Oh, and two count again!
09:28 Oh!
09:30 That was closer than Amira wants to know.
09:33 Beautifully executed by Reign Leverkusen.
09:35 Really smooth.
09:35 Swing and a break off.
09:37 Here we go.
09:39 Maybe going for a submission maybe.
09:42 No, she's not.
09:43 She's turned her over.
09:44 Reign Leverkusen.
09:49 Right up at Amira.
09:50 Amira's already up.
09:51 Oh!
09:52 Taking her down with a chopper.
09:56 And Reign is not in a good place.
09:58 Oh!
09:59 Oh, what a neck breaker!
10:00 What a great improv there from Amira.
10:04 Again, that unorthodox offense you can influence.
10:06 Amira went for a pin that time.
10:08 I was going to say probably 80% of Amira's offense
10:11 is probably improvised.
10:12 Yeah.
10:14 Oh, and there we go!
10:15 Sent on!
10:16 Another cover.
10:18 And another close to win.
10:20 Wow.
10:21 What an opening contest we're seeing here at Falconwood.
10:24 What a way to kick this about.
10:25 Back heel kick there.
10:33 I think she's done.
10:34 So you go for it.
10:35 No, another close kick.
10:37 Amira's face.
10:38 There's still not enough sheer disbelief on Amira's face.
10:41 You can't believe that one was a good count.
10:43 I'm not surprised.
10:44 [INAUDIBLE]
10:50 Oh!
10:52 You see here, Wendy, this goes out of code for quite some much.
10:57 Amira letting her voice be heard.
10:59 What's the impression you've got of the team so far, Wendy?
11:04 The fact that Amira just is still on top, as I said earlier,
11:08 Reign is a two-time champion at two different companies.
11:12 Reign's fading.
11:13 Yes.
11:13 Amira's looking like she might win this.
11:15 Oh, maybe she's not.
11:16 She's back on her feet now, Reign.
11:18 And this is not good for Amira.
11:20 Oh, she's missing that kick.
11:21 Oh!
11:22 Brings it back around again.
11:24 Good fight lights out.
11:26 And now Reign, wanting to put an exclamation mark on this.
11:31 [APPLAUSE]
11:34 She's fired up.
11:35 She's scouting Amira.
11:36 Amira's not moving.
11:37 She's still dazed.
11:38 So here we go.
11:39 Reign's got a third-- oh!
11:40 There we go.
11:41 He's trying to win with that knee.
11:43 And there it is.
11:44 And it's over.
11:46 Wow, what an impressive opening.
11:48 Reign is the winner.
11:49 Yeah, Reign Liverhulme takes the victory
11:51 with that strong, running knee.
11:53 And your winner, Reign Leverkusen!
11:57 [AUDIO OUT]
12:00 Welcome back, Grapple fans.
12:03 How about that?
12:04 A decisive victory for Reign Leverkusen over Amira.
12:07 Very much so.
12:08 That running, impactful knee certainly sealed the deal
12:11 for Reign Leverkusen.
12:12 And all of us here in the studio, along with you here at home,
12:15 Grapple fans, will have to watch what happens for Reign next
12:19 on UKPW.
12:21 But coming up next, we have a very interesting bout for you.
12:25 We have speed versus power.
12:26 But there is a lot of history behind this one,
12:28 with Just Joe Lando taking on the suplex merchant, Alf Edwards.
12:33 There certainly is.
12:34 So, Grapple fans, cast your minds back to the Table Ladders
12:36 scares match, which saw Sapphire Reed crowned
12:39 your new inter-regional champion.
12:41 Just Joe Lando was originally scheduled
12:43 to take part in that contest, but was injured.
12:45 And Sapphire Reed was added to fill the space.
12:48 Now, for Alf Edwards, that is a problem.
12:51 Alf Edwards has taken a major issue with this,
12:53 in terms of he felt that this bout should
12:55 have been a four-way rather than a five-way,
12:57 and Sapphire Reed should have been nowhere near the bout.
13:00 What happened at the end of that with Sapphire Reed being crowned
13:03 the new inter-regional champion has absolutely
13:06 got under the skin and driven Alf Edwards absolutely mad.
13:10 So, to get to Sapphire, he's going to make a point
13:13 and go through Just Joe Lando.
13:15 Who's going to come out on top, Grapple fans?
13:17 A main event that could have been all of its own,
13:19 but it's right here, right now, for you to re-cite.
13:22 Absolutely. It's a perfect opportunity for Alf Edwards
13:27 to make an impact and demonstrate his championship bona fides.
13:31 The audience here in Falconwood are clearly behind Joe Lando.
13:37 Alf Edwards isn't impressed. He wants to fight.
13:39 Absolutely.
13:41 [FIGHTING SOUNDS]
13:43 Woo!
13:44 What a man!
13:45 Alf Edwards! Alf Edwards!
13:50 [CLAPPING]
13:53 Crowd chanting "Alf!" I think I hear "Alf."
13:56 That seems a little...
13:58 Hope for better.
14:02 There's a power of the Suprex merchant there.
14:06 Absolutely. Both Edwards and Lando getting the...
14:08 kind of sizing each other up, getting some early offense in,
14:11 showing off their shots, ultimately.
14:14 We may see some shots.
14:16 Yeah.
14:17 And they're trying to work their arm.
14:20 Smart move, of course.
14:21 Not many get any Suplexes done with one arm.
14:23 No. Alf Edwards, as a rule, is more powerful than Joe Lando.
14:28 Lando is more quicker, technical.
14:31 Absolutely.
14:32 But they can both do both.
14:33 It's really very interesting to watch this.
14:35 Absolutely. Both of them are very limited in offense
14:37 and it's going to be interesting to see who gets the measure of the other.
14:41 Certainly the athleticism that Joe Lando shows is second to very few in UKPW,
14:47 but Alf Edwards should not be counted out based on that rule.
14:50 As you said, a lot of that.
14:51 Really interesting bit of technical training from Lando there.
14:54 I haven't seen that in a matchup before.
14:56 He's been picking up skills everywhere he goes.
14:58 He's spent a lot of time in the same area this year,
15:01 touring across America, and he's done many outstanding matches in UKPW,
15:06 some of which were in the running for Match of the Year.
15:09 In fact, he may have evened it.
15:14 Still learning.
15:16 Alf Edwards taking a breather here.
15:21 He will probably feel he's well deserved.
15:24 Joe Lando almost certainly taking a chance to do the same.
15:28 The slow pace works with Alf Edwards and it does with Joe Lando.
15:31 I'm surprised Lando hasn't gone out to get Alf yet.
15:33 You're absolutely right.
15:34 Slowing down the pace of this match is in Alf Edwards' best interest.
15:38 Proud to let Alf Edwards know what they think of him.
15:43 Referee Tristan Stone counting, of course, with one outside the ring.
15:47 On a ten count, they would be counted out and the match would be over.
15:50 Edwards just able to be--
15:55 Oh, you've seen that, haven't you?
15:58 A couple of times today, just making use of the vibrations and that mid-roll.
16:03 Speaking of mid-roll, Joe Lando just hits it.
16:06 Oh, cannonball into the corner.
16:08 Joe Lando is rocked.
16:10 Cover.
16:11 Oh, close too.
16:13 That's the problem or the advantage that Alf Edwards has.
16:16 As soon as he gets a moment, he can hit you with so many powerful moves.
16:19 He can't even breathe. Let him think about coming back.
16:22 Absolutely. By no means should Alf Edwards ever be counted out.
16:25 Unless he doesn't answer the ten, which is the case.
16:32 Sharp close one.
16:34 Cover. Two count again.
16:36 Referee Tristan Stone counting too.
16:38 Edwards just cinching in on Joe Lando there, looking to wear him down.
16:42 Again, taking him off his feet. It's a smart move.
16:44 He's so quick, I can't turn my back to mention that hook.
16:49 So he's back on his feet.
16:51 Oh, he's on his feet. I spoke too soon.
16:53 Cover. Doesn't hook the leg. Maybe that cost him.
16:55 Two count.
16:57 Maybe. Maybe that was a little bit arrogant for Alf.
16:59 Maybe he does think he's just got power and he shouldn't hold the shoulders down without any effort.
17:03 Okay, so the crowd now. If they're chanting, if they're saying the word elf, they're saying elf sucks,
17:07 which as a Christmas movie fan I will not tolerate.
17:09 Oh, goodness me. Strong close down from Alf Edwards there.
17:13 Joe Lando.
17:15 You can see it's rough.
17:17 Lando's shoving Alf Edwards away there. Alf Edwards doesn't appreciate that.
17:21 Lando needs to try and up this pace a bit if he's got any chance of beating Edwards.
17:26 His strength is going to be in pace, high flying agility.
17:29 He's got the crowd in his sights. He just needs to build some momentum.
17:32 Maybe with these forearms he's going to start doing this.
17:35 Oh! Wow! Flipped through into a style of tight maneuver.
17:48 Now if Edwards is rocked, you can see he's shaking the cobwebs out.
17:53 Joe Lando. Can't take Edwards off his feet with a single close down.
17:56 He's going again. Two and still doesn't do it.
17:59 Trying to get the crowd's energy on him.
18:01 Oh! Step over into Guri.
18:05 Drop kicked into the second rope and Alf Edwards is in a precarious position.
18:10 He's hung up, you're right.
18:12 And Lando will be looking to make the most of that with a 619 tight maneuver.
18:17 Lando's climbing. Jumping off the top. Goodness me!
18:21 Yeah, Lando.
18:23 Oh! Whips Alf Edwards just across the floor and out of the ring.
18:27 Lando's high flying. Oh! Suicide dive.
18:34 Throws Edwards into the ring again. Trying to make use of that momentum.
18:38 Trying to make use of that speed and agility. Calling the match on his terms.
18:41 Flips through. Rolls through. A kick to the back of the head.
18:46 How much can Edwards have left in the tank? His leg is still stuck.
18:49 Yeah, Alf Edwards is trapped. And Jolando just knocked him off the rope.
18:54 He might be grateful.
18:56 Oh! Steps across the ring rope to do a drop kick from the rope itself.
19:02 Real innovator of offense in Jolando.
19:06 Did someone remove Jolando's fear?
19:08 He does seem to have less fear.
19:11 I certainly wouldn't be hopping around on tops of ropes.
19:14 No, indeed. I barely even interact with them.
19:17 Can't help but agree.
19:19 Oh! Stiff kick.
19:26 Edwards does look to be...
19:30 Oh, Lando may be over-exerting himself. They're trying to lift Edwards for some sort.
19:35 Edwards looking to... Oh!
19:38 Edwards has still got it. Potentially moving for a sunset flip.
19:42 Oh! Lando hits an armbar.
19:46 Edwards is trying his best to hang in there.
19:49 Without arms, you can't do a suplex.
19:51 Absolutely. If you can't have both, you should use both of your arms.
19:54 Referee Tristan Stonestreck to see if Alf Edwards submits.
19:56 He's wriggling, he's flailing, trying to keep himself in this context.
20:00 Look at that power!
20:03 Huge powerbomb.
20:05 Are we going again?
20:08 He's looking to... Oh!
20:10 Look at the pressure that's...
20:12 Oh! Stretch.
20:13 He's putting pressure on Joe Lando's neck and his back and his legs are going to be in bad shape.
20:18 How is Lando even going to get out of that if he can?
20:20 Look at the strength of Shine though.
20:22 Trying to push himself back and forth.
20:24 Pretty much bended in half. Alf Edwards has got Joe Lando bent in half.
20:28 Oh, and Joe Lando makes it to the ring, which means Alf Edwards has five seconds to break the hold.
20:32 Which he does.
20:38 Joe Lando looking at places in the crowd, just connecting with those people.
20:42 Using himself to get himself back in this context.
20:46 Edwards is perhaps slightly fresher at the moment, but that could easily change.
20:52 Oh, maybe.
20:53 It's going to take a few more things than just clapping hands for Lando to get back in.
20:56 Absolutely. He needs to hit some defensive moves and he needs to hit them hard and fast.
20:59 Oh! Especially with clotheslines as strong as that from Alf Edwards.
21:04 How on a clothesline. And Alf Edwards isn't even letting go of Joe Lando.
21:08 He's not giving him a second to get away.
21:09 Absolutely not. If you call Alf Edwards a suplex merchant, he's not really giving Joe Lando the option to buy him.
21:13 Joe Lando. Oh!
21:17 Oh my goodness!
21:19 Alf Edwards was enraged by that move.
21:23 I don't know how many kicks there was there. I tried to count them. I think I got to five.
21:28 I think five sounds right. That was lightning fast, Joe Lando.
21:33 Oh!
21:34 Oh! And a powerful dropkick.
21:37 You just can't get to the move to call him because Joe Lando's got three more.
21:41 Referee Tristan Stone here counting a ten count if both combatants stay on the ground.
21:48 This match is a no contest. We don't, I mean, we certainly don't want to see that.
21:51 As I said earlier, slowing down is actually better for Alf Edwards.
21:55 If you're giving him time to breathe, he's got time to fire up the suplex machine.
21:58 You're exactly right.
21:59 Joe Lando's going to be relying on that speed and energy and as the match goes longer and longer,
22:04 it's going to be harder for him to keep that, he's got a lot in the tank, but he's only here.
22:08 And Edwards is coughing.
22:13 Joe Lando's equal to the challenge.
22:16 Now they're trading forearms.
22:18 I suppose that's a full-on merchant.
22:21 I suppose that's a full-on merchant.
22:22 He might be winning that forearm contest.
22:30 Yeah, I think he might not be there. He came off better in that deal for sure.
22:33 Oh! Maybe not. Joe Lando building some momentum.
22:37 Lando's back to the clearance zone.
22:39 Oh!
22:41 Oh!
22:44 Stiff kick to Alf Edwards and he's rocked for sure.
22:48 He catches it mid-air.
22:50 Oh!
22:51 Brutal German suplex from Alf Edwards.
22:53 And this is the moment where the trade starts to go against Joe Lando.
22:57 And a close two count once again.
23:01 That was very close.
23:02 Joe Lando can't have any air left in his lungs after taking that many suplexes.
23:06 Absolutely not. He's going to be taking momentum away from him and taking the breath out of his body every time he hits the counters.
23:16 So many suplexes. So many.
23:18 These types of manoeuvres in Alf Edwards are incredible as well.
23:21 Oh! Joe Lando rolls through.
23:23 Twist of stone counts. Three counts!
23:25 Just like that the match is over.
23:27 A crazy trade from Joe Lando.
23:29 And that's that speed winning for us.
23:31 Absolutely. Exactly right.
23:33 He had to pull it out of the tank at that moment because Alf Edwards was equal to the challenge.
23:38 I mean Alf Edwards gave an incredibly powerful performance there.
23:42 Oh!
23:43 Well, you don't like to see that.
23:46 Alf's not finished after that sneaky win.
23:48 No, absolutely not.
23:50 Not happy with the way things went down there.
23:52 Maybe felt he was building a head of steam and had Joe Lando take it away from him with a quick roll through there.
23:56 Welcome back grapple fans.
24:04 Before the break we saw just Joe Lando picking up the victory over the suplex merchant Alf Edwards with the quick roll up.
24:11 But Alf was not happy about this situation in the slightest.
24:16 That's one word for it Dave.
24:17 After the match when it made no odds to the result of the contest,
24:21 Alf Edwards took a cheap shot at Joe Lando.
24:23 Won't have endeared himself to the crowd of Falconwood nor to Joe Lando.
24:27 No doubt we will see those two square off again.
24:29 Very much so.
24:30 And he may even be in a number one contenders bout for the next match we have for you grapple fans.
24:37 It is the UKPW Inter-Regional Championship match.
24:41 Our main event, it is the defending Sapphire Reid taking on the man that never lost.
24:48 The man that never was pinned nor submitted.
24:50 The kid without fear Danny Black.
24:52 That's absolutely right Dave.
24:54 A blockbuster main event like this deserves a proper look at the competitors.
24:57 So let's take you to that now.
24:58 [Music]
25:01 [Music]
25:05 [Music]
25:08 [Music]

25:28 [Music]
25:34 [Music]
25:52 [Music]
25:55 [Music]
26:01 [Music]
26:08 Well there you have it grapple fans.
26:16 Two phenomenal competitors are going to duke it out for the UKPW Inter-Regional Championship.
26:21 Dave I'm so excited.
26:22 Absolutely.
26:23 It's going to be Sapphire Reid defending, Danny Black challenging.
26:27 It is certainly going to be an epic encounter.
26:30 One we are absolutely proud here at UKPW to bring our audience to you grapple fans.
26:37 It is now time for our main event.
26:42 I don't want to keep them waiting anymore.
26:44 So let's knock to ringside.
26:47 UKPW Inter-Regional Championship.
26:53 [Cheering]
26:55 Pass the belt.
26:56 Thank you for your Christmas time.
26:57 Standing on my right is the challenger from Lewisham, London.
27:02 [Cheering]
27:05 The longest reigning UKPW Inter-Regional Champion in history.
27:12 The kid without fear, Danny Black.
27:19 Another important thing to note.
27:21 The longest reigning Inter-Regional Champion we've had.
27:24 Yes.
27:26 Takes nothing away from Sapphire Reid though.
27:28 Unless she becomes deceased.
27:30 From South East London.
27:32 The grappling goddess.
27:35 The current and reigning Inter-Regional Champion.
27:40 Sapphire Reid.
27:46 [Cheering]
28:02 They are only chanting Danny Black's name because it sounds better.
28:06 What a better theme tune than Sapphire Reid does.
28:11 There we go.
28:12 There he is.
28:13 Just like that.
28:14 We've got dueling chants from the crowds.
28:16 Again, these are both fan favourites.
28:18 The crowd is not going to know where to place their faith.
28:20 Maybe they're going to switch between.
28:24 At times like this you have to get the favourites.
28:29 I've got a favourite in this match but I'm going to try and remain impartial here.
28:34 I can't pick between them.
28:35 I really can't.
28:39 Certainly certain sections of the crowd seem to have a clear favourite.
28:47 Really powerful look up as well.
28:49 Neither of these want to let go.
28:51 Well it's going to be about establishing dominance early in the contest.
28:54 Both have a point to prove.
28:55 Sapphire wants to prove.
28:58 [Clapping]
29:13 Sapphire has pinned Danny Black before.
29:15 It was in a triple threat match with Joe Lando.
29:18 Yes, indeed it was.
29:19 [Clapping]
29:46 Forget about Danny Black.
29:47 His legs are made of springs.
29:49 Absolutely.
29:50 This could be over early.
29:52 That was a very innovative pin you went for there.
29:55 How did you even catch Sapphire?
29:57 [Clapping]
30:09 Oh, an uppercut to the back.
30:11 It's a minimum and half line offence from Danny Black.
30:15 He didn't even get to the top rope.
30:17 He didn't even come to stand.
30:18 Incredible.
30:19 [Whistle]
30:21 So Sapphire rolled out the way of that move but he still landed perfectly.
30:25 Danny Black rolls through again into a cover.
30:27 Took it.
30:28 Once again trying to shade Joe Lando early in the programme.
30:33 Just trying to catch him off guard for that split second.
30:36 [Clapping]
30:44 Danny Black landed slightly awkwardly there.
30:46 Yes.
30:47 Not clever.
30:51 A modified slipway from Sapphire Reid there.
30:55 Oh, a step over into Gary and Danny Black is dazed.
30:58 Sapphire Reid is everywhere.
31:01 He needs to stay on the apron.
31:05 What's the plan here?
31:08 Oh, not on the apron.
31:10 My goodness.
31:11 Danny Black needs to stop this from happening.
31:15 It's for the championship.
31:16 Is it worth that much?
31:18 Oh, my goodness.
31:21 A boot straight to Sapphire Reid's face.
31:23 Yes, a boot to the face.
31:26 Well, the crowd didn't actually like that very much.
31:30 Danny Black is going to make enemies if he does this to Sapphire.
31:34 Absolutely something he could potentially do.
31:36 He came in with the adulation of the crowd.
31:38 It doesn't have to stay that way.
31:40 Oh, Danny Black goes for a backflip.
31:44 Oh, the baseball slide from Sapphire Reid right in the chest of Danny Black.
31:49 He's been dropped by a double whammy.
31:51 Missed the backflip, landed on his leg and then endured a baseball slide to the chest from Sapphire Reid.
31:58 We've seen multiple times both these competitors will give it absolutely everything inside the ring.
32:06 And with the championship on the line too,
32:08 I don't think there's going to be anything left of either of them when this match finishes.
32:13 Danny Black introducing Sapphire Reid.
32:19 Entrance way up here.
32:23 Oh, Danny Black, no.
32:25 Oh, Danny.
32:26 Going for a suplex.
32:28 Sapphire Reid very sensibly reverses.
32:32 Oh, throws Danny Black to the outside.
32:35 Oh, Sapphire Reid just launches herself through the air at the Kid Without Fear.
32:41 And you can argue that Sapphire Reid herself is no slouch when it comes to fear.
32:50 Val Jones called her the grappling goddess in the introduction earlier.
32:55 Sapphire Reid is proving that point.
32:58 She wants to back in the ring.
32:59 She wants to win decisively.
33:00 She wants to win definitively.
33:02 She doesn't want to win by a counter.
33:03 She's not in her best interest.
33:04 The questions will just persist to count Sapphire Reid.
33:09 Danny Black, you can see he is feeling the effects of that sustained offense from Sapphire Reid.
33:15 He took some offense to the floor and various parts of the arena that are not the ring.
33:23 Sapphire measuring Danny Black here.
33:25 Going for that cut up.
33:28 Danny Black.
33:29 Oh, encounters.
33:31 Face of canvas.
33:36 These two know each other very well, but it seems like there is absolutely no love lost here.
33:41 Absolutely not.
33:42 They both want that championship more than they want a friendship.
33:44 They're both fierce competitors.
33:46 And ultimately what it boils down to is they both want to be the one who walks out of here with that title in front of the Falconwood fans
33:52 where these two last competed.
33:54 The crowd is trying to turn on Danny.
33:57 Hard to say.
33:59 Hard to say.
34:00 It's a tight crowd.
34:01 Right now he has a small amount of energy.
34:05 Oh.
34:06 He wrenches the arm of Sapphire Reid.
34:08 He slams it to the mat face down.
34:10 Two count for referee Brisbane Stein.
34:12 This contest is still not over.
34:14 It was a big kick out from Sapphire Reid though.
34:16 She's not anywhere near done yet.
34:18 No, she's definitely got spirit to keep fighting and to keep staying in this contest.
34:31 Working that arm.
34:32 Oh, and here Sapphire Reid in tremendous amounts of pain.
34:36 Will not submit.
34:37 You heard that note here.
34:39 You heard it through my microphone.
34:41 Sapphire Reid will bend, but she will not break.
34:44 That's got to be frustrating for Danny Black.
34:50 He's going to have to, he's going to be thinking what do I have to do to keep her shoulders to the mat.
34:56 Oh, it won't be that.
34:58 Kicked by Sapphire Reid.
34:59 Oh, another one.
35:00 This time to the head.
35:01 Danny Black is rocked in the corner.
35:04 Sapphire Reid hits the European uppercut to the turnbuckle and an elbow just keeping that
35:09 offense against the head going.
35:11 Oh, Danny Black reverses the whip.
35:15 Oh, Sapphire Reid going for an aerial maneuver there, but Danny Black.
35:18 Oh my goodness.
35:21 Cinches up both arms.
35:22 That's one, two, two counts.
35:24 That is over.
35:26 Danny Black's finished playing.
35:28 These are ground and pound from Danny Black.
35:30 That is an aggressive side of Danny Black.
35:32 I don't think I've seen this.
35:36 I know he's competitive, but like you said, this is a level and this is something else.
35:42 This is Sapphire Reid's first offense of that title.
35:46 Danny Black defended the title a lot of times.
35:49 He knows what sort of headspace she must be in right now.
35:52 Absolutely.
35:53 And he's going to use that to his advantage as well.
35:55 100%.
35:56 This crowd is very much rallying behind Sapphire Reid as the champion right now.
36:02 Chanting her name, even as she's being set up in the turnbuckle.
36:07 Hit with some really quite stiff forearms by Danny Black.
36:11 Oh, okay.
36:12 Sapphire Reid seems to be energized by these forearms now.
36:16 Well, Sapphire Reid is radioactive, so maybe it's what we're after.
36:19 Oh, that forearm was certainly hazardous material.
36:25 Now Sapphire Reid with some strikes of her own.
36:29 Goes around, comes around.
36:32 If it's good enough for you, Danny Black, you can take it from Sapphire Reid.
36:34 One thing you can't argue with is that this contest has been a lot of back and forth offense
36:38 from these two incredible competitors.
36:40 Very, very easy.
36:41 Another of those European Outcasts.
36:43 That one has some venom to it.
36:46 Oh, good me.
36:49 That turnbuckle cover is teetering on the point.
36:52 Oh, my goodness.
36:55 It's just relentless.
36:59 Oh, two count.
37:02 How is it only a two?
37:04 This is still not over.
37:06 Tristan Stone confirming what we saw.
37:08 That's a two count.
37:09 The look of disbelief on Sapphire's face says it all.
37:11 And now the crowd wants Danny to rally back.
37:14 This is the dilemma of the UKPW audience.
37:16 These are both fan favorites.
37:18 Nobody is going to want to see either one lose, but somebody has to win.
37:22 I think whoever wins today, the fans have won.
37:26 I think either way, we've all won, except the person who loses today.
37:30 Which, you know, it's the winner.
37:33 Somebody has to lose.
37:35 Oh, I love that move from Danny Black.
37:41 Off the ropes into a DDT and Danny Black is signaling that this is over with.
37:45 Maneuvering Sapphire Reid into a position for what looks like a German Super,
37:49 but Sapphire counselling with elbows.
37:53 Oh!
37:55 Right on Sapphire's head.
37:57 It's an innovative offense and Sapphire Reid would be understandable if she was out for the count.
38:05 But it's not over.
38:06 She hasn't moved too much yet.
38:10 Why is Danny Black not going for the pin?
38:12 It's a great question.
38:14 Sapphire Reid just staring daggers at Danny Black right now.
38:21 It's not enough, but it looks like a repeat of the same move.
38:24 Huge forearm from Sapphire Reid.
38:28 Once again, Danny Black trying to hit something.
38:30 Oh!
38:31 She said that earlier, they're coming out now.
38:33 Beautiful chop from Sapphire Reid.
38:35 Danny Black trying to get his own.
38:36 Oh!
38:40 What a start, this huge 3, 4, 5, half a dozen huge forearms followed.
38:46 I can't, this is too quick to call.
38:48 Oh!
38:49 Huge forearm from Danny Black.
38:51 Off the ropes.
38:52 A big boot from Sapphire Reid.
38:54 Oh!
38:55 Nice move.
38:56 A massive headbutt.
38:57 I don't know if anybody came off Bella from that.
39:00 No, they're both off their feet now.
39:02 Danny Black certainly got rocked to the outside of the apron,
39:05 but Sapphire Reid came off pretty badly as well.
39:08 Both looking to use the ropes to climb back up to their feet.
39:11 Kristen Stone checking on the well-being of the both as well.
39:15 [CROWD NOISE]
39:21 Hover to Sapphire Reid, back to Danny Black now.
39:23 Another forearm from Sapphire Reid.
39:25 Huge forearm, Danny Black does not like receiving.
39:27 Gives him just as good as he gets.
39:30 It's like Christmas really.
39:32 You're not meant to give a gift to receive, but you expect it.
39:35 Oh!
39:36 Slap from Sapphire Reid.
39:37 Oh!
39:38 German suplex in the apron, and Danny Black would be well forgiven
39:42 for not knowing what month it is.
39:44 I think that might have been straight off the apron.
39:46 I don't even know if Danny Black touched it,
39:47 or if it went straight to the outside.
39:48 It happened so fast.
39:52 Kristen Stone's going to be counting a 10 for both of them,
39:54 because I can't imagine that went well for Sapphire Reid either.
39:57 Please don't let this match end outside of the ring.
40:00 I mean, if it has to end, then it will just persist the same questions.
40:06 Is there a contest, you know, can the championship be contested?
40:10 And until that definitive finish, one way or another,
40:14 we will still have a question.
40:15 I can't see much from here, but I just saw Danny Black move a little bit.
40:17 From our broadcast station, we are watching Kristen Stone's
40:20 answer to the second-handed counts.
40:23 And it's a nine count.
40:24 Nine?
40:25 This could be the 10.
40:26 They both roll in.
40:27 Sapphire might be counting, they broke it.
40:29 Both roll in on nine.
40:31 Neither one wants to be the one to say no.
40:38 Both just in each other's faces, just furious right now.
40:42 They're just throwing forearms back and forth.
40:45 Danny Black misses one there.
40:47 Swing and a-- swing and a--
40:49 Sapphire Reid is rocking Danny Black.
40:53 Oh, ducks a close one.
40:55 Oh, forearm, but he didn't.
40:59 Oh, goodness.
41:00 Another one of those-- no.
41:03 Sapphire Reid's lucky to have counted that.
41:06 Just back and forth, it's a relentless pace.
41:08 Hard to keep track.
41:10 Danny Black keeps trying to hit those high impact moves.
41:13 Oh!
41:14 And then lands with an incredibly high hard kick.
41:19 Sapphire Reid, go to swing and another impact superstar maneuver.
41:24 Oh, my goodness!
41:26 Both of these competitors are worse for wear.
41:28 Sapphire-- oh, the two!
41:33 Unbelievable.
41:35 Sapphire Reid with a clothesline that almost took Danny Black's boots off.
41:39 And still can't get that briefcase.
41:41 How much are these two willing to pay on their bodies for this championship?
41:45 How much have they got left in the tank after this?
41:47 They're both giving each other absurd amounts of money.
41:50 I can see them both needing to be carried out of this ring after this.
41:53 [INAUDIBLE]
41:56 Danny Black blocks a kick.
41:57 Hits one of his own.
41:59 One on the back.
42:00 Sapphire Reid ducks.
42:02 Danny Black ducks.
42:04 Goes for another.
42:06 Shoot!
42:07 Oh!
42:08 High impact move.
42:09 He goes up, has to come down, I guess.
42:11 A one!
42:13 A one!
42:14 Wow!
42:15 [CROWD CHANTING "SAPPHIRE"]
42:21 Oh, goodness!
42:23 There is no way Sapphire's surviving that.
42:25 Has to be.
42:26 She kicks--
42:27 Oh!
42:28 I don't believe what I'm seeing!
42:30 It's the power of the crowd here in Falconwood keeping Sapphire Reid going.
42:33 There can't be anything else right now.
42:35 The crowd is 100% right now.
42:36 You can hear it, no doubt, through our mics.
42:38 The crowd is rallying behind Sapphire Reid.
42:41 Not taking anything away from Danny Black.
42:43 He has his fans here.
42:44 But right now, it's almost like the fans don't want this contest to end.
42:47 Danny Black's first to his feet.
42:48 And it looks like he's about to climb.
42:50 Absolutely.
42:51 Scaling the top rope.
42:52 Surely you've not got it left in you this late in the game, Danny Black?
42:55 Has to be.
42:56 I mean, at this point, what else do you throw?
42:59 I know you're the kid without a fear--
43:00 Really?
43:01 He's not afraid.
43:03 Oh!
43:04 He telegraphs and rolls through.
43:06 Huge kick to Sapphire Reid in the corner there.
43:09 Maybe looking to put Sapphire to the mat from the top rope himself.
43:12 [CROWD CHANTING "SAPPHIRE"]
43:16 Twisted Stone not knowing what to make of this, as well as they might.
43:20 [CROWD CHANTING "SAPPHIRE"]
43:28 Sapphire rolls through from the attempted top rope maneuver by Danny Black.
43:33 Oh, couldn't be, could it?
43:37 Sapphire Reid climbing the top rope with Danny Black.
43:41 Oh!
43:42 And it's a reverse hook and run from the top rope.
43:45 Oh!
43:46 Sapphire!
43:47 Sapphire hits a huge knee, and that's it!
43:50 Wow!
43:51 What a contest!
43:53 Sapphire Reid prevails over Danny Black and retains the UKPW Interregional Championship.
43:59 What a contest!
44:01 Neither one would give an inch.
44:03 It took everything Sapphire Reid had.
44:05 He reversed hurricane rider from the top rope.
44:08 First successful title defense for Sapphire Reid.
44:12 Long may the Grappling Goddess reign.
44:16 Certainly she's got through the first defense, and if she can get through this, you wonder,
44:20 what would it take to stop her?
44:25 How about that, Grapple fans?
44:26 What a main event, Dave O'Connor!
44:28 Very much so.
44:29 As we have said all along, Danny Black is no slouch.
44:32 He has held that UKPW Interregional Championship since Tables, Ladders and Scares won.
44:38 He held it for over a year, and Sapphire Reid needed to beat him.
44:43 She needed to pin or submit him, to cement her legacy with that belt.
44:49 And that is exactly what she said she would do.
44:51 That is exactly what she did, and she is walking out with the UKPW Interregional Championship
44:58 following that incredible Poison Rada.
45:01 We here, you at home, we send our heartfelt congratulations to the UKPW Interregional Champion,
45:07 Sapphire Reid.
45:09 But that is all the time we have for you Grapple fans on this episode of UKPW on KMTV.
45:15 I have been your host, the Big OC, Dave O'Connor.
45:18 I've been Rob Ringside, and let's leave you with some heartfelt words from Danny Black after the match.
45:23 [APPLAUSE]
45:32 I didn't finish all that, so if this is running over, fine.
