00:00 Bill Belichick now that he's leaving New England.
00:02 And look, maybe Vinny will get some clarity on this an hour
00:05 from now when he holds his press conference.
00:07 Now, you know, what I know about Bill Belichick, Vinny,
00:10 because this time of the year, as crazy as it sounds,
00:14 I see Bill Belichick a lot because he has a home
00:18 in Jupiter, Florida.
00:19 He has his boat all the time out there.
00:22 And, you know, he's always in Florida.
00:26 And so I was thinking to myself,
00:27 where's the destination for Bill?
00:29 Well, I mean, is it crazy to think that he pushed Doug
00:33 Peterson out of Jacksonville?
00:35 Like, or would it be Atlanta?
00:37 Because I think his landing spot, Vinny, call me crazy.
00:40 I think it's going to be in the South somewhere.
00:42 I think the cold weather is over for him.
00:44 So I understand why ESPN would speculate that this morning.
00:48 Yeah, definitely.
00:50 You would think he's going to be trying to do a half retirement
00:53 type deal with this next coaching job as he tries to
00:56 chase Don Shula's all-time wins record.
00:59 I think that's the last thing left on the table.
01:01 You may not add another Super Bowl,
01:03 but he can turn around a team with his personal acumen,
01:06 his defensive coaching, get a franchise quarterback.
01:09 So I think that is all going to come into play, right?
01:12 And he's going to maybe handpick where he wants to go.
01:15 Does he like Trevor Lawrence in that situation?
01:17 Is there a chance that Chad Khan could change his mind
01:20 and give him a home down there?
01:22 Or is there a situation that could develop later,
01:26 say Tampa and Todd Bowles wants to step down or whatever?
01:30 Who knows, right?
01:31 There's some options here other than Mike McDaniel in Miami
01:35 that could happen.
01:35 And I think if you're going to go close to the Southeast,
01:38 I guess you would look at Atlanta there as a potential.
01:42 I know it's not necessarily the juiciest job here with where
01:46 they're at and just the marquee level of that franchise.
01:49 So something to look at.
01:49 But I think the big team we're going to watch here,
01:52 Washington commanders.
01:53 They have Josh Harris.
01:55 He's been intrigued, the new owner,
01:58 about Bill Belichick for a while.
01:59 Now that he's officially available and the commanders,
02:02 you don't want to turn this thing around.
02:04 And Belichick being a guy with the Naval Academy ties
02:08 and all that, not too far.
02:09 So maybe the commanders being a historical significance there
02:12 with the way that Vince Lombardi and George
02:16 Hallis and some others finished their career there.
