Dozens of pubs on the Surrey and Hampshire border at risk of Stonegate debt refinancing

Almost 150 pubs in Surrey and Hampshire including many in Farnham, Haslemere, Alton and Petersfield owned by Stonegate are at risk as private equity parent company TDR capital seeks to refinance £2.5 billion of debt. The GMB union has warned increased interest payments on this massive debt could lead to loss of community pubs.
