00:00 Everybody welcome into the all Hornets pregame show.
00:03 I'm Skylar Callahan tonight the Charlotte Hornets back in action at Spectrum Center
00:07 as they play host to the Sacramento Kings.
00:09 It'll be the second final matchup of the season against these Kings and
00:14 just about eight days ago Charlotte ended their 11 game losing streak
00:18 to Sacramento with the win on the road at the Golden One Center Terry Rozier.
00:23 He has been hot as of late and my goodness.
00:26 He was big in this game as well 34 points on the night for him and
00:31 get in that win over Sacramento.
00:32 He's averaging 32 and a half points per game over his last four.
00:37 And the big problem or the big issue I would say that is kind of held
00:41 Charlotte back here in these last handful of games is the lack of a consistent
00:45 second score miles bridges showed up in that Sacramento game.
00:49 Just about as consistently as Terry did but they need someone else to step up.
00:53 Brandon Miller's been sick.
00:54 He's been dealing with hip injury.
00:57 But he told me today that he is feeling better and that he should be good to go.
01:02 So Miller and his last two games is five of 24 from the field.
01:09 Three one of 14 from beyond the arc.
01:12 So that's got to change for the Hornets to have a chance.
01:15 They need Brandon Miller to be scoring the basketball justice.
01:18 Maybe not as much but at least a compliment Terry Rozier and
01:22 miles bridges especially without the presence of starting center Mark Williams
01:27 in that starting lineup on the flip side for Sacramento.
01:31 There's a weird game for the money bonus against the Hornets a week ago.
01:35 He had 23 points 19 rebounds and get this 11 turnovers.
01:40 I don't know that I've ever seen a stat line look like that.
01:43 That could be so dominant but yet so
01:47 holding his team back.
01:49 I guess I don't know of a better word at the moment but my goodness.
01:52 Goose goes for 20 and 20 but he has a triple double and
01:55 the in one of the ways you don't want to get one.
01:58 So let's see if the Hornets can force some more turnovers tonight as a team.
02:02 The Kings gave up or surrendered 21 on the game.
02:07 They also didn't shoot the ball well at the free throw line going 10 of 17 in that
02:11 one deer and Fox led the way for Sacramento with 30 points.
02:15 So another opportunity for the Hornets here at home.
02:18 It's been a place a house of horrors if you will for Charlotte this season, but
02:23 it's a chance to get back in the win column with some more guys down.
02:28 Once again, Gordon Hayward's out, Lamella balls out, Frank Latakina is still out.
02:33 Cody Martin is questionable for this game.
02:35 Mark Williams is doubtful.
02:37 If Williams misses that'll be his 15th consecutive missed game due to that low
02:41 back contusion.
