00:00 And we really love to support our food banks because I'm alright in saying, Sue, that the food banks are required more than ever.
00:06 More than ever now. More than ever.
00:08 So, first of all, give the Easter team a great big round of applause because they're doing amazing, amazing, amazing work.
00:14 And to honour that, we're going to give Sue 60 seconds to dash around our fabulous brand new store.
00:20 And you've promised not to wreck it. There's no sweeping.
00:24 60 seconds to dash around our brand new store and grab as many items as you possibly can.
00:28 OK. Your chariot awaits soon.
00:32 3, 2, 1, and she's off.

01:39 My name is Sue Parrish, I'm the Operations Manager for the Easter team which is part
02:00 of the Crawley Foodbank Partnership providing food parcels for people in Crawley. So I was
02:07 invited to do a 60 second trolley dash, I didn't realise how quickly 60 seconds would
02:13 go, and so I went round and I collected lots of things that will be used to go in our food
02:19 parcels and that will be used in both our premises, which is an amazing thing to do,
02:26 it's a brilliant start to the opening of Poundstretcher, it's a really kind thing to do, and was possibly
02:32 the most exciting email invitation I've had, I've never done it before! No, absolutely,
02:38 like I say it went very quickly, what kind of items did you have to go for and what are
02:41 you looking for? So I tried to choose things that are specific things that we need, so
02:47 at the moment we're each short of tea bags, so I got some giant bags and boxes of tea
02:51 bags, coffee because that's quite expensive, some cleaning products, lots of our families
02:58 need cleaning items, some storage, there were storage boxes and a broom, a new broom which
03:05 will be very exciting, and these are all things that I would have otherwise had to buy, so
03:10 it's a bonus for us. How can people donate to the Easter team if they want to get in
03:15 touch? So we have a website which is theeasterteam.org, but if you google Foodbanks in Crawley we
03:24 will come up as one of them, and there's a donate button through there. We have a hub
03:29 in the town centre behind County Mall and we're very happy, sometimes people come in
03:34 and give us cash or cheques in there, if anybody contacts me I will be very happy to make that
03:41 happen!
