Cameron Heyward says the Pittsburgh Steelers will need a group effort to replace T.J. Watt if they make playoffs.
Transcript
00:00 You guys have replaced a lot of people all year.
00:03 If you had to replace TJ, could you do it?
00:06 >> We better be able to, it's a tall ask.
00:10 It's not gonna be one guy.
00:11 We're gonna have to mix some things up.
00:14 But as a pass rush crew and as a D line and
00:20 outside linebacker crew, we have to step up.
00:25 It goes to guys like Alex Highsmith, who I thought played really well today.
00:29 Nick Herbig, Marcus Golden.
00:31 These are the guys we relied on for depth all year.
00:34 And they've done a good job.
00:38 No one's gonna go out there and say, hey, I'm TJ Watt.
00:41 But collectively, we gotta pick it up.
00:44 >> I'm guessing that there's not gonna be a guy off the couch that can come in and
00:47 beat TJ, but Mike T did come off the field yelling off the couch, I guess,
00:51 about Miles and Eric Roche.
00:53 How impressive is it that they're doing what they're doing,
00:56 having been retired earlier this year?
00:59 >> I know Mike T is big on relationships.
01:03 But to get a guy off the couch and give him the play like they're playing right
01:05 now, it's a testament to the coaching staff,
01:11 guys like Grady and AC for getting them ready.
01:14 But it's a testament also to the players who have jumped on this train and
01:18 really performed for us.
