00:00 >> Well, it's huge.
00:01 I think it's always good to see the offense putting up points and
00:04 sustaining long drives, being able to have a sit over the bench.
00:07 We talk about all the great defenses, but I feel like the first half is on 22,
00:12 26, some plays in the 20s.
00:14 And this year, it feels like that's been the amount of plays we played,
00:18 just a quarter alone.
00:19 So I'm very pleased with that.
00:21 But we need more three outs to the defense,
00:24 it's something we've been emphasizing and something we can continue to get better at.
00:28 >> TJ, you started the game minus two starters, you lost two more as the game
00:33 went on, what was your level of confidence in the group at the end of the game?
00:39 >> Huge, I mean, being able to walk away with a win is huge.
00:43 We know it sucks when guys go down, but like I've said since the beginning,
00:48 it's everybody in here practices, everybody's in the same meetings.
00:52 Everybody knows what the standard is, it's all about stepping up in those moments.
00:55 We don't have time to sit around and
00:57 sulk while we have a football game going on.
00:59 We just need to take it in stride, and I feel like we did a good job of that today.
01:03 >> TJ, specifically with Landon, notice from him today or
01:07 since you guys came in this year, what are you asking?
01:12 >> What Landon Roberts has brought to your group and
01:15 how we've gotten everything together today.
01:16 >> He's got a steady voice inside, he's never too high, never too low.
01:22 Very confident player.
01:24 He's gonna get us lined up exactly how we need to, and
01:27 that's all we really need as a defense.
01:29 We just need to be on the same page.
01:30 And he's a guy that's been able to do that since he's been here.
01:33 True professional, and he's making some good plays for us as well.
01:36 >> On that front though, I mean, he came into this season knowing Cole would
01:39 probably be the every down guy.
01:40 He comes into this game thinking Quan would be the every down guy.
01:43 What does that say about a veteran to adjust on the fly like that and
01:46 play as much as he did in this kind of setting?
01:48 >> Yeah, everybody in the building prepares like they're starting, and
01:51 he's no different.
01:52 And he's always been really good at communicating.
01:55 And every single meeting, every additional meeting, he's done a great job.
02:00 And even on top of the special teams that he's been playing, so
02:03 he's had a full play.
02:05 And to be able to step up in a game like this, when you didn't know if your number
02:08 was gonna be called, just shows how much he had been preparing this whole time for
02:12 that long.
