00:10 It mean a lot.
00:19 I have a pretty good relationship with Ryan and the guys upstairs, but
00:23 at the end of the day, this is a business.
00:26 So they have to make the tough decisions.
00:28 And my job is just to go out there and play my best.
00:31 But it would mean a lot just to get that confirmation from them and
00:35 just really send a message that they trust me to lead this team and
00:38 be the quarterback.
00:40 Headed up, I felt growth this year, each and every game.
00:45 I've been feeling it really since I've gotten back from injury.
00:48 So I think I got better tremendously when I came back from injury and
00:55 I'm only getting better.
00:56 I mean, the thing is we had the same topics and stuff last year.
01:01 So it's not like we didn't have the number one pick last year.
01:03 So I mean, it's gonna be the same thing.
01:05 Like I said, I control what I can control and
01:08 I'm gonna get healthy this off season, spend time with my family and get better.
01:14 So like I said, we went through the same thing last year.
01:16 We had the number one pick, everybody was asking what if, what if, what if.
01:19 And nothing happened.
01:20 So yeah, I'm not saying that nothing might happen cuz shoot, we all don't know.
01:24 But I'm not gonna let the potential or what if, what if not,
01:28 stress me from enjoying life and going through my everyday life.
01:33 I think it's work ethic.
01:35 Like I said earlier this year, I think we improved as a team.
01:38 We learned how to win and I think the coaches also improved.
01:41 So it's a hand in hand, nobody's perfect and I've been saying that for
01:44 I don't know how long, nobody's perfect.
01:46 We've all gotten better and he's good at adjusting.
01:49 And if I talk to him, if the players talk to him,
01:51 then he's gonna listen to what we have to say.
01:53 And we're gonna do what's best for collectively for the team.
01:56 So I mean, yeah, that's one thing about Luke, he's an open book.
02:01 He's an open mind and you can talk to him and sit him down and
02:03 have a conversation with him.
02:05 He'll listen and he'll really take it to heart.
